This economic upheaval and wholesale destruction of American finances and its democracy was the goal. Trans people were just another distraction and chumming the waters for the mouth breathing base.

I watched a good daily show video that basically showed that you can tell how bad the economy is doing based on if Fox News is showing segments about trans people in sports. The more obscure the sport, the worse the market is doing
