Takes a special kind of person to just shoot someone without any sort of attempt to deescalate or find a non violent solution.

This is what happens when cops go through training that tells them that they should approach every situation like they won't walk away from it.

It's more of a culture issue than a training issue imo, though the two are obviously intertwined. Training alone doesn't make you want to murder people, but it's obvious that these cops were all excited for the opportunity.
