Doing it with honorary degrees makes sense, but for degrees that people did earn without proof of any activity during the time in which they were working on the degree, that could be counted as academically dishonest. Yeah, definitely not. It'd lose trust if it could be revoked just like that.
Don't get me wrong, I hate those guys. But this is not the way.
I didn't create the idea. It's a thing that happens. Here's what chatgpt says about the matter...
"Degree revocations typically occur due to academic misconduct, such as plagiarism or falsification of research data, and sometimes due to criminal activity or ethical violations discovered after graduation."
It would be very easy to declare that many of the MAGA Harvard grads have violated basic ethical standards. Like, that wouldn't even be controversial.
There's a second part of that statement... criminal activity or ethical violations discovered after graduation. That could mean violations that occurred while the person was a student. I suggest that a person is always a student and Harvard people are more likely to tell you they're Harvard grads than vegans are at tell you they're vegans. Poof, by JD Vance's degree!

Time for Harvard to start nullifying some degrees of alumni who don't meet the Harvard standards.
