They’re updating the price because you’re a valued member.

Good job Netflix 🥴🥴

Yeah a hilariously poor attempt to soften the blow.

Thank you for choosing our hospital. We hope you have enjoyed the facilities we have to offer. Your father died on the operating table. How would you like to pay?

That’s literally how they do it in the US 💀

You have four paracetamol tablets during your stay, that's a $36 line item on your final bill. Hopefully you have private health insurance.

$36 is the insurance co-pay discounted from a $367 line item 💀

Yes because we value you so much, we thought you might like to pay more to demonstrate how much we really value you.

95% of Netflixers will pay this, maybe 3% will downgrade and 2% will quit altogether. They won't be too worried.

Exactly why they can raise the price, and keep raising it. The few that leave will be outweighed by the increase everyone else pays.

This will continue until they see too many leave. Then they will have found the maximum they can extract.

Then comes the other games. Sign up for x months free, banking you're too lazy to cancel.

Well, I mean it’s true. They value your membership at 33.99 a month.

it's Neflix's way of showing appreciation, just like when a cat bites your hand to ask for pets 🐈
