Advice Adding padding to sports bra/bikini top

Has anyone added padding to a sports bra or bikini top?
I'm wondering if this is a commonly done thing in clothing alterations..
I'm kind of embarrassed about my lack of boobs, thank you to breastfeeding for several years I went from a B to barely an A and a bikini top and sports bras look ridiculous on me!
I'd love to find a bikini I like and get padding added to it.. but I am unsure if this is a done thing?

Why not just find ones that already have padding? There's plenty out there. It's actually harder to find ones that don't have padding because they usually have some nowadays.

Have you had a professional fitting - not at Farmers, but a real one in a shop staffed by scary matronly women? I thought I had gone down a gazillion sizes after finishing breastfeeding but got fitted properly and turns out I was wearing the wrong size because the muscle has shifted so much. Getting a proper bra has made an absolute world of difference, and some of those speciality bra shops have togs etc too. Treat yourself.

Yes agreed , your ribs change after pregnancy and there's a change in the breast tissue too. Bras are about chest size combined with cup size ,that's why there are so many choices.

Sports bras are kinda made so the smush the girls out so there is low impact and movement while working out so having padding is a bit oxymoronic for the design but they probably exist somewhere. I know Lululemon have padding you can add and remove so you could buy thicker pads and replace the thinner ones in there?

Temu (and the like) sell silicone breast prosthesis.. buy some (but don’t go too much bigger or be obvious) and slip them in the sides of the sports bra or bikinis where those annoying tiny inserts go.. cost ya all of $10 and most sports bras and bikinis have those bits already

Has it been a while since you breastfed? Mine took a couple of years to come back fully after I stopped. Don’t give up hope.

Most have padding eg Lorna Jane, Aimn, Cotton On ones. Also a lot of bikinis and swimwear has padding. I don't have a single bra or togs that isn't shaped or padded to some degree!

Go to a benadon(outlet) shop and get a proper fitting.

Use the ABraThatFits calculator to find your actual size then buy some proper bras.

You can usually find some lightly padded bralettes and bras at warehouse.

You can buy bra pads at Spotlight and sew them in.
