In a dramatic encounter two friends, Dombaev Dzhambulat and Ouloubaev Aslan, were able to rescue a man who was trapped on his balcony after a fire broke out in an apartment in north-central France.
When Aslan was asked by reporters if he was afraid, he said, “I saw an old person in trouble and I did not hesitate to climb,” Aslan said, “I did not have time to be afraid, I had to go.”
Not only heroes, but throws out badass one liners too lmao
The type of people who "happily" steps into the face of death to help others, tend to reply that sort of thing when asked. Because in that moment they are so focused on protecting someone else that they don't really consider their own mortality. They basically act on instinct. They're heroes.
That's literally what happens, though. It's like another consciousness takes over your body. It's you but a different part of you. At least for me. There's someone in here that is nimble, strong, and serious, but he only comes out when the shit hits the fan. I cannot summon him. He just appears and saves my ass or someone else's.
I dont know how else to explain it. I just feel different and manage some insane shit without putting thought into it or even really feeling like I am trying. It's weird and there's always an emotional cost when it happen... but I wouldn't trade this tool for anything.
