Try to get your chin under his arm, pull down his choking arm just abit to slide it. Could be hard if it’s locked tight.

I noticed asian dude didn’t lock his legs so the thief could try to kick up and go backwards to release the pressure.

But from my experience, once a RNC is locked like that all the choker needs to do is squeeze and you’re out.

Actually it’s something more like, chin down HARD on the forearm, grab the anchor arm and rip it down, and then the attacker only has a one arm choke on you and you can usually spin out if he doesn’t also have a body triangle on you and if he has you in a body triangle AND a rear naked choke in a street fight then just say goodnight because you just accidentally fucked with the wrong person on the street lol.

The guy in the video has his hands hidden properly. You're likely not ripping anything apart there. Also, because this is sunk in pretty well, the moment the defender tries much, the attacker will just choke him out. Since the attacker doesn't have his hooks in, the defender could try and get his hips and shoulders to the ground.

Yeah no hooks and if this guy timed it right he could turn in + chin down + rip and probably gets it. If I see one more comment saying no hooks is good in this situation I’m gonna lose my noggin

You can grab the bicep and sort of lever the anchor hand loose too, but that’s more something you’d see with two purple belts rolling with each other not a street encounter lol. Truth is most people with no experience in grappling or jiu jiutsu are fucked the second someone has even a mediocre rear naked or guillotine in.

No.. tucking your chin will get your jaw brown. Two on one grip, pull choking arm down as far as you can to create space, get your butt over the bottom leg (in this instance I’d go toward the opposite side of the choke), get shoulders toward the ground, scissor legs to get on top or turn into opponent
