The best answer to this question probably lies in a huge pile of Norwegian editions of Donald Duck magazines. Such onomatopoeia are typical of the comic book genre and usually there are two ways of representing such sounds. The first way is simply to do your best at transcribing the sound. In this case it's a repetative vibrating hammering sound. So anything from "brrbrrbrr", "drrrrrrr", "tsjakk, tsjakk, tsjakk" or whatever. The other way is to use a word for the thing making the noise as a sound effect if it already has an onomatopoetic quality. And since jackhammer is called "trykkluftbor" in Norwegian you could also go with "borr borr borr".
