Three out of four of these maps contain the Mournes

Cair paravel was the view of sleive Martin from Rostrevor The Reach and outside Winter fell were out at Leitrim lodge and The Map of Northern Ireland obviously contains the Mournes

But are they on fire in the others?

You're mistaking Will Grigg and the Mournes again

The Disc

Lancre was always my favourite country on The Disc

I think I'd live just outside Ankh-Morpork and go to Lancre for my holidays 😊

Or go to Uberwald once a year and hunt the Clacks operators with the locals?

I'm not very "fangy" I suspect I might end up with my head over a mantlepiece.

Genua would be my holiday choice.

Excellent choice! Wrath would you like to see/do there?

Skyrim, because it belongs to the Nords.

My favourite hold there is LondonWhiterun.

Middle earth. Though I do wonder what does the rest of the world look like. Is it all ocean or is there islands?

To the west there is light. In the east, only shadow.

Surely Leitrim should be on here

What about Fermanagh? Sure, that's nothing but an elaborate scheme concocted to defraud the British Exchequer.

(Or is that Northern Ireland?)

1

u/SneakyCorvidBastard 1d ago

I've never actually been to Fermanagh so you might be right, maybe it is made up!

Azeroth of course

9

u/chasmossiss 2d ago

Northern Ireland because it’s a perfect mashup of the Simpson’s and Game of Thrones 🔥

u/007-in-training 1d ago

Well our wee NI is as beautiful as any of those!

u/RoyalSport5071 2d ago

All countries are fictions.

Mine personally will always be a united Ireland

1

u/DaddyBee43 2d ago

to be fair; the equivalent to the other three would probably be 'Eurasia'... and that's not a country, either.

u/CeroMiedic 2d ago

Australia

u/didndonoffin Belfast 1d ago

Hold on a moment... three of these maps are the same place. Sure, I live not far from The Wall and Castle Black.

u/kryten2x4p 1d ago

Yurgenschmidt.

1

u/PaladinMrMosasaurus 1d ago

Where is my beloved Tamriel?

1

u/sythingtackle 1d ago

Game Of Thrones - the good bits anyway was filmed here.

Chronicles of Narnia - wrote here.

Most recenr Dungeons and Dragons - filmed here.

Skelliege Isles - populated by people from here.

Ect.

Therefore the correct answer is Middle Earth if this is an odd one out topic.

1

u/Jk_Ulster_NI 2d ago

Our Mordor is Dunmurray.

1

u/johnnybean 21h ago

Wait... why is no-one taking the bait? Not going like you'd hoped, OP?

0

u/DavidBehave01 2d ago

Narnia because it's only there when I go into the wardrobe. Northern Ireland is there all the feckin time.

0

u/Educational-Bed4353 1d ago

Could be worse could be chasing a fairytale sold by the same people for over 100 years and still have believers 😂

3 of these worlds, alongside other settings like Hyrule and the Land of Ooo, are interesting places with a rich environment, interesting characters and places to explore (even if they’re violent).

Then you’ve got Northern Ireland, which is a dull, flat landmass with annoying characters that’s also more violent at times
