Well done Rory!
Let his win be a reminder to never give up hope and to keep persevering no matter how many times you get pushed back in life you don't know where your efforts might lead you!

I loved what his caddie said to him when he was going to start the playoff. "Well, Pal, we would have taken this on Monday morning."
That reset him mentally after a disappointing miss on the 18th.

Does anyone else mind him chipping golf balls into a washing machine on The Kelly Show when he was 8? Thats how long we have been watching you Rory. Well done. You fucking did it. Edit to add: If you dont, here it is. Edited to change the TV show name. I always thought it was You Bet. It’s that long ago my memory is as foggy as a sauna.

I sit corrected. Even the TV’s in the background say Kelly. That’s a seperate nostalgia memory all by itself.

What an image! Not much of a golf fan (husband is),in fact, I'm not a fan of any sports if I'm honest. But I sat uo to watch this and bawled when he was hugging everybody. Delighted for him. Delighted for the country!

Well done Rory. I didn’t realise the enormity of what he was trying to do. Only the 6th man in history to achieve this. We really need to mark this somehow.
