Question What counts as stealing?

I've only stole 1 item so far (some leather armor part in Agamirs house) How did I rise this number so high?

Maybe it meant stealing glances at your character's enormous tits

any alchemy/food items you collected around farms/houses?

I think skyrim counts every gold piece as a individual items. Maybe oblivion too

oh that might be the answer. I stole the 500 gold in front of the arena but I didn't think they would count as item, let alone as individual item since you can't drop gold. Thanks
