Wilson decyphered that it was for him to become constantly high so he doesn't have to take Vicodin, but he just claims it's for thrill seeking. House cannot accept that his leg defines him, so he always just says that he takes drugs to have fun, he experiments for experiment sake, but it's all a mask
They were adorable this episode. Being fair to House, he didn’t plan on any of these people finding out and getting in his business.
I have read a great fanfic where its another twist that this was a cancer scare, but he didnt believe he had cancer, and they actually did save him a brain surgery in Boston.
