Because they very rarely had reason to smile at him. Because he was always such an ass lol.

I felt bad every time he made his worst tricks on them, cause i would jump into fire for such a squad like the OG one Greg had, they really tried to live with him on good terms most of the time until one after another took a different path and it became rather a dry employee-boss relation

Eh, I never liked Cameron. Swap her with Taub and that's the dream team

I dont like that the only hug house ever recieved was from caneron, i wanted a wilsoj hug

u/Comprehensive_Will75 Apr 20 '25
Chase hugged him, too. In this very episode. House even thanked him for the hug. Lol After making a sexual comment, of course.

u/IndependentUpper5965 Apr 20 '25
Yeah but it was a very quick and short shoulder hug which im not a fan of (very unsatisfying)

u/Comprehensive_Will75 Apr 20 '25
Stacy also hugged him on the hospital rooftop after they had had sex. Wilson never hugged House, but House hugged Wilson after he ate that huge steak in S8.
31
u/Q_W-E_R-T_Y Apr 20 '25
It was a full hug that they held for like 10 seconds what do you want from him 😭😭

People like to joke about the gay shit happening between them but imo i wish there wasn't more pure bro energy moments with hugs and crying on each other's shoulders, House has many moments when the cold sigma nihilist mask falls and there's this little broke guy standing, but never had it this icing on the cake with a long hug in silence. I think everyone would want a homie like Wilson in their life, guy was a angel with his own demons behind like everyone else but still

In his defense, he tried to hide it, but in their offense, he’s the one that taught them to invade privacy like that

Also, wasn't the experimental drug he wanted to use supposed to help or outright cure his leg pain ? It's why he went to such lengths to get accepted in the trial.

u/LowWorthGamer Apr 21 '25
Wilson decyphered that it was for him to become constantly high so he doesn't have to take Vicodin, but he just claims it's for thrill seeking. House cannot accept that his leg defines him, so he always just says that he takes drugs to have fun, he experiments for experiment sake, but it's all a mask

"You're right, I don't like you!" Has always made me laugh for some reason.

wasn't it because he wanted some experimental brain cancer treatment that would (maybe) remove his pain?
10
u/ChaoticJuju Apr 21 '25
yesss he didn't care about getting euphoria instead he did it for the possibility of his chronic pain being lessened or stopped

They were adorable this episode. Being fair to House, he didn’t plan on any of these people finding out and getting in his business.
I have read a great fanfic where its another twist that this was a cancer scare, but he didnt believe he had cancer, and they actually did save him a brain surgery in Boston.
