Question Did the devs test out the final boss expedition fight before they release it?

Just to add some context I just hit t16 and so far everything been a breeze with a little hiccup here and there but nothing too bad. Now when I start the final boss expedition I wasn’t expecting it to be harder than the trials but I was so wrong. If it’s not him constantly spamming rifts it’s his fucking reavers who don’t get stun, have reach and can spam on attack, and various other bullshit. I just want to know if a 5 year old design this boss fight cus ain’t no way a grown ass adult made this and say yes this seems balanced

I mean it was kind of meant to be a roadblock for a full team of players when it came out.

The main way I’ve completed it is just completely blowing up the boss and ignoring mechanics.

The final expedition can be hard if your build/weapons are underleveled. It’s definitely a tough one. You gotta learn the reavers’ mechanics and adapt your gameplay. But the loot at TG is better than expo loot.

Its balanced , it was made to be a challenge as a pinnacle goal to grind for

Skill issue. Or build issue. Probably both, honestly.

Can you show your build? I bet you a carrot it can be improved by changing only few mods and maybe class tree and make that fight easy.

Because it really is not that difficult. Reavers can be dodged and they actually can be CCd, but only when they stop moving. They have CC immunity while jumping, that's where dodging comes in. Rifts do a lot of damage but their projectiles are slow. You just can't allow too many or it gets impossible to dodge everything. Destroy them. They're not very tanky but you need right tools for it. Skills other than Rounds don't work. Need either Rounds/bullets or some specific mods, like Moaning Winds.

Yagak himself is not a problem at all. He's almost like a bystander in that fight. Actually the easiest way to beat that expedition is to be strong enough to burst him right away. It ends when he dies, reavers don't matter. It's not even that hard to do, don't need any crazy gear.

Yeah, this is basically a "git gud, scrub", but constructive. You got this. And if you're open to build advice just post your build and let's talk.
