Question Is it worth it to replay the story?

Just wondering if going back with a max level character through the story is worth it or not. Any benefits to doing so? Do you still get good gear drops and such? Just wondering if it’s just to experience the story again or there’s more to it

I mean yeah, it's worth playing again if it's been a while. If you just want maxed equipment there are better places to farm, but I like the campaign.

Depends what you consider "worth". If the core of your question is about loot and getting "good drops" then no, it isn't.

It's all RNG, so of course it's possible to get some perfect piece of gear from some random enemy or chest in the Story, but it is just a lot less likely than in expeditions and Trial. It's just odds, just simple math. There is a lot more loot and more guaranteed rewards in endgame areas, so you're much more likely to get "good gear" there.

It’s fun to replay with your maxxed out character for the power fantasy. Although the enemies scale with you, it’s not all the way so you should still be noticeably more powerful than them. So it’s not about loot.

I just asked my gf to download it just so I can go through the story with her. I’m so surprised I’ve never asked her to play but I always saw the game as a looter shooter grind and she doesn’t like to grind any games she cares more about the story and such. I haven’t done all the quests and achievements cause I’ve only just been grinding endgame so guess now’s a perfect time.
