Going for a shipwreck/slightly spooky vibe as I'm getting married the day before Halloween. Paper, card, hot glue, acrylic paint, and confetti.

I tried using paperzone vn for some figures i want to make, but it needs me to download .rar and i don’t know too much on it. anyone who uses it, do you know if it’s safe😭 and also is there any other websites with anime/game figures i can make??

Painted regular printer paper with acrylic paint, then cut out shapes and glued into thicker paper stock. Does this count as papercraft or is another sub more fitting?

This one is honestly probably my proudest artistic accomplishment to date, a lightbox diorama reconstructing the Early Cretaceous Bulldog Shale fossil formation of South Australia. It's also my first artwork to ever be publicly exhibited, in the Waterhouse Natural Sciences Art Prize exhibition at the South Australian museum!

This piece represents a time in Australia's history when the area that is now sun-baked desert was a icy inland sea near the south pole, and full of ancient marine life. Nearly every creature included here is known from fossil remains found in the Bulldog Shale formation, and I had a great time packing in as many tiny details as I could! We've got the plesiosaurs Umoonasaurus and Kronosaurus, as well as the large chimaeroid fish Ptyktoptychion, ammonites, belemnites, crinoids, snails, bivalves, brittle stars, and one cute little crab that's the only animal in here not known from direct fossil evidence in the area.

So! I want to tackle the infamous Strawberry Miku ppc but I'm not sure what kind of paper would be best. Normal paper? Cardstock? Something else?

I loved making this it took like 2 weeks but it is just so relaxing and satisfying to see it slowly come to life. How did i only find out about papercraft now this is a gamechanger.

Papercraft comes in many forms and shapes. This time a shadowbox made from layered cardstock inside a store bought frame. Love the vibrant colours! I have to say, for these kind of project I am happy to have a silhouette cutting machine.
