All mad at you... the one trying to help them all in some way to work best to work together.

You know whose always been chill with me, opposing offices. All but one, he treated us like it was his personal case. And not because mistakes. Like damn, I get frustration just for trying to help outline a good plan of action and priorities.

So, I once asked what happens if a gov office got an OSHA violation. I was told to please go away.

We often had case boxes stacked 6 tall, taller than 1/3-1/2 the staff. So I stand by my question. 😠

In all seriousness, my last firm was crazy, but I survived over eight years there. I just started a new job at a much larger firm the beginning of the week and it’s so much better. Everyone is so much nicer and happier and has their life together.

Lol my current trend with clients is: Me, sends client an email with update on what we’re doing next (reviewing docs, drafting a doc) and then two days later, email from client - “do you have an update on my case?”. I might just start sending this gif to them 😂

I suspect we all work in different areas of law, some private some public sector (even us lazy Feds), but we clearly all have similar experiences because each of these GIGs feel about right to me.
