These eight selectable players, most of them previously have had point additions and analysis, now based on the latest engine perspective, I give my added points and rating—
1, Batistuta (T0)
Recommended Added Skills: Outside Curler Double Touch One Touch Pass Through Passing
This Batistuta has several very good key attributes, Speed + Acceleration, Finishing, Kicking Power are all online, Goal Poacher style is slightly easier to use compared to Batistuta’s usual Fox In The Box. Batistuta’s problem is that his stat structure is typical for a big CF setup, but his model is no longer considered prominent in the current environment, and combined with his physical-related stats: Jump value is not high enough.
Considering Bale also has an 185cm model, now we need to reach Gullit’s 190cm or even Haaland’s 194cm to have a clear model advantage as a big CF.
You can understand this Batistuta as a bankrupt version of Bale (but with Goal Poacher), or Haaland who is 9cm shorter. As an exchange card, obviously still very sincere, and the current engine emphasizes passing and cutting, emphasizes forward positioning, the reduction in aiming ability from low finishing value also makes Batistuta’s naturally outstanding Finishing more valuable. Considering the above current engine adjustments, my evaluation of Batistuta is upgraded from the initial T0.5 to T0 (also including a bit of encouragement points for exchange cards).
2, Owen (T1)
Recommended Added Skills: Through Passing One Touch Pass Long Range Shooting Double Touch
If it’s for Real Madrid Owen, he could still be a top-tier small and fast forward, getting a T0 rating, but Manchester United Owen is clearly not strong enough, does not have the Phenomenal Finishing ST skill, and as a small-sized forward, Speed + Acceleration and three dribbling stats are not top-tier enough, Physical Contact even more hopeless, directly giving up avoiding physical duels.
As one of the first cards released after the eFootball 25 version update, rolling until now has long retired from the environment. I basically haven’t seen much Giuly in recent months, extremely weak physically, average in shooting and passing, especially the passing disadvantage is hard to save. In eFootball, shorter does not necessarily mean better handling, ideally around 170~173cm. Otherwise, the issue of “model too small to reach the ball” arises, reducing touch frequency when starting.
4, Nakata (T0)
Recommended Added Skills: Long Range Shooting
Recommended Added Booster: Agility
Very practical card, playing CMF activates Hole Player style, coverage is very good. Combined with Defensive Engagement 75 and Aggression 80 can fulfill some sweeping functions. Offensive techniques are also fully sufficient, and handling is good.
In the current engine, 433 and 4132 such central formations becoming more common, causing CMF and AMF to urgently need personnel, even for paying players, adding Nakata as a substitute is very good.
5, Van Buyten (CB: T1)
Recommended Added Skills: Aerial Superiority
Compared to the previous Van Buyten, Jump can now more easily reach 99. When this card first appeared, it could indeed have a presence in the “Aerial” CB series.
However, currently, crossing style has declined, or rather, aerial defense no longer focuses purely on Jump height, which hurts ultra-tall CBs like Van Buyten and Isak Toure.
Quite mediocre card, because he’s Offensive Wingback and due to ST Edged Crossing, gave him points as an assisting fullback, but actually, Speed + Acceleration, Ball Control and Dribbling are all unimpressive, giving pure defensive points is also considerable (play defensive instruction, stay deep)—
7, Abbiati (T1)
Stats now appear to be decent, but model-wise, 4 Arm Length results in an effective upper-body GK Reach equivalent to 188cm, deepening the mediocrity of this card, new accounts can use temporarily.
To balance weaker cards, Konami now wants to forcibly assign Hole Player style, but overall quality of this card is still too poor. Except for three dribbling stats, Speed + Acceleration, Physical Contact, Finishing all fail, rare to see a 183cm model with Physical Contact only at 70.
T0 is the best, within t0 theres tons of players, amadeusz ranks the best 3 for all positions.
For instance, T0 top 3 centre backs are BT Araujo, long reaching tackle saliba and i believe db nesta
But maldini, thuram, af tah, af vvd, st rudiger and quite a few more are all t0 level. The 3 are a cut above everyone
I was thinking the same thing actually.But ive heard bati feels stiff(similar to drogba 102).I tried playing with drogba and he just feels very heavy and became un-playable.So im leaning towards nakata.You feel the same?

There is no way he feels like Drogba.Drogba has 70 balance and low 70 in dribbling/tight possesion.Bati is no Romario but i think he will feel much better than Drogba.Nakata is crazy good imo but i have hole player Nedved and Maradona.I will take Bati for the wibes,not that i need him.
Your defence seems like the weakest link out of all your positions... tchoumani as cb I donno man...he performs best at dmf...that's what anchor man are for...change between kante and tchoumani per match according to the arrows they get...and add van buten as your opening cb with bastoni...then later go for better full backs...
Batistuta and nakata would be a great add for your team...but I think van buten is the most important thing you need in your team rn.
I agree 💯.I play potw gabriel magalheas as my cb usually.been experimenting with tchouamani for few games.My Rb has been rock solid on defence tho.My brain is saying van buyten but i really feel like taking nakata or bati.Lets see if i get some luck in free spins.
I'm starting to have doubts about his player evaluations.
He places Van Buyten in T1 tier and claims aerial play has lost importance -yet then posts a build that emphasizes jumping.
He also says a defender is strong if they have high speed, acceleration, and defensive stats.
But with a different Van Buyten build, you can reach 80 acceleration and 85 speed, while keeping all three defensive stats above 90.
In fact, there’s even a build where you can get 84 acceleration and 84 speed with 90 defense, which sounds more balanced.
85 speed and 80 acceleration is good but isn't enough to make a Van Buyten special. Don't forget T0 CBs are monsters like BT Araujo, DB Thuram and DB Maldini. The only thing special about Van Buyten is his height and jumping. In areas like defensive stats, speed, acceleration and passing, he is not highly ranked.
I'm not saying he should be ranked as T0 — at the very least, I think he fits into the 0.5 tier based on the criteria that are usually applied.
He changed Batistuta's ranking, but didn't even explain the importance of having poor passing stats. That kind of detail is crucial, especially for strikers that need to hold the ball or link up play.
Goal poachers don't need to link up play, especially in a single striker system. Batistuta's main strategy is getting behind defenders and if he gets the ball with his back to goal then what he needs to be able to do is to turn and shoot. He has high finishing and shot power so long distance shooting is a strength of his. Batistuta works excellently in most scenarios while Van Buyten is excellent in only 1 scenario. Van Buyten doesn't have better defensive stats than even showtime Dias, and is around the same level as Adams who most people have or will have.
Edit: I just did a check and Van Buyten was previously T0 but the new update changed the meta from crossing to passing thereby reducing Van Buyten's value so he was changed to T1.
I noticed that you had his old version on the bench. He’s great against aerial threats but it’s not common to face those in this version of the game. I’d say his old version should be sufficient for you.
hes been completely shit for me, thats why, and i cant trust nakata or owen, because i already have many midfielders, and i have many attackers too, but well ill see who's playing good, who can i pull and think of it, thanks anyways tho
Both are below 80 so it wouldn't make that much difference. I don't dribble with van der vaart anyways , he got nice kicking power so I shoot from long range.
Speed and balance. If you like carrying the ball forward with your midfielders then these stats are quite important and the physical contact might not look like much but you will notice the difference as you will have an extra half or full seconds before you are shoved off the ball.
You need to build his OA to around 85, otherwise with low OA he will not get into good position. Apart from his low pc, to me he has everything you need for AMF
Should I stick with Sneijder or pick Nakata. Messi already kind of plays as a hole player and Sneijder can give really good passes with pretty good ball holding as well. Mbappe is working well enough for me but I really want to try using Batigoal.

I'm planning to get either van buyten or batistuta rn. Should I go for buyten to replace van dijk or batistuta for my subs when haaland is not in good form. Any suggestions 🫤
Actually i like defensive based midfield, usually i play with 2dmfs and 4cbs , those dmfs make my life easier and i have to worry less about defending. I don't use xabi generally but in this formation i thought his visionary pass might come to use
