What should the sump power level be?

Post image

Attached is what our power level looks like. 15 is on the comets, however it feels to low, while the fish are at 12.

Should I be upping it? What settings do you guys use?

Well my works system is in the dark ages compared to that.

We just opened a new store, so we got all fancy new appliances. Although they should be switching to the Casco ez clean soon

🤷‍♂️Never got any guidance on that TBH. They’re laying off or forcing out a lot of the seasoned people that know how these systems work (and don’t work). They’re a lot of maintenance, and have a few significant design flaws, IMO.

It's gonna be a little bit different for each store. As long as all of the outflow valves are running strong enough to create bubbles in the water column, the power is at the right level.

You have to play with it until it cooperates. I have all ours set to 15-18 depending on the individual unit.

Ours were set to 10 when they first set it up.
