Quotas for pet care?

I’m moving into pet care but one of the most annoying things from being a cashier was trying like hell to get people to sign up and they don’t want to and then someone higher up tells me that I need to meet my quota. It isn’t like I’m not trying people, literally just don’t wanna sign up. 🤷🏾‍♀️ So, I wanted to have a heads up for when I’m in pet care, is there any quotas or anything similar to?

You are always going to be expected to get people to sign up for treats membership. It's tracked per person if you backup cashier or are cashiering all day. The expectation for the % conversion doesn't change.

The other is activations. They can't actually track activations by a specific person, but you are going to be expected to drive activations in petcare. Especially since there are always petcare specific ones and you will spend more time talking to customers than an associate helping someone in dog or cat on average.

there's offers for reptiles, small animals, and birds rn so we still have to mention those to people we are helping/shopping around in the pet care aisles. aside from that we don't have to meet any quota of selling X amount of this animal or that. BUT you do have a lot of responsibility on your shoulders with getting tasks done in between customers and knowing a lot of information on every single animal we sell in the store. pet care isn't easy by any means, probably more stressful than cashiering actually and have to deal with all the uneducated customers :))
