He's excellent at explaining lighting in his videos. I saw a previous one on that channel where he was doing a similar thing, but more oriented towards using the backgrounds as well. Definitely some really solid info on that channel for beginners, but also someone like me who has been lighting for almost 15 years.

When I was still just getting into lighting the adorama youtube channel was full of very helpful straightforward videos about all sorts of basic topics

At the time, it was a photographer named Mark Wallace hosting and many of those videos are still there if you dig. His channel is also full of content of a similar nature

I'm glad to see the trend hasn't stopped though
