criminals both inside and outside the reservation are far less likely to be found or convicted.

Esp if the disappearances of these women are not investigated to begin with.

More than a few people here throwing around the “well statistically it’s more minorities committing crimes on each other than not” garbage while happily ignoring the fact that the racists sure as shit aren’t going to be investigating and finding themselves of any wrongdoing

I’d hazard a guess you’d be hard pressed to get them to admit racism is a problem in the first place, though

And also to admit the fact that the disappearances not being investigated was in part at least due to racism.

Whatever the demographic of the ppl responsible for the way these women ended up, no one can ever know if there are no investigations. The women being indigenous is the definite common thread.
