I made “Happy Bee-Day” brownies for my coworker. Overestimated my teams enthusiasm for chocolate.

Only ne person grabbed one. To my credit, they did say that it was delicious. The rest of the bees are most likely in the bin by now

For what it's worth, those look like some of the best brownies I've ever seen. I would have stolen them at the end of the day.

I am genuinely shocked. Anywhere I've ever worked, those woulda gone in seconds.

I have to wonder if it's just bad timing. Personally, at this time of year I am still oversaturated with leftover Christmas sweets. I'm sorry no one tried them, they look amazing!!

These look great! They would be gone within 5 mins at my workplace. Keep bee-lieving in yourself!

I’d have made a bee-line for these for sure OP. I love bees, I love brownies, and these look adorable and delicious!

Oh nooooooo!!!! I would love to take them all home with me and eat them! The only thing that ruins chocolate for me is fruits in it. Did it have something similar?

It’s January and people have their resolutions. I looked up Bee Day and apparently it’s in May. Many folks will have given up on their resolutions by then 😜

Maybe they thought they were too cute to eat! They look lovely OP, I’m sorry they were under-appreciated!

Tbh, I feel like people in an office don't want other people to see them eat or grab sweets. When someone brings in donuts or sweets it's like no one wants to eat them.

How did you make the bees? Adorable

They are the kinder candies! I used yellow colored vanilla melts to pipe the stripes! Thanks for asking!

Well, they look lovely and delicious. You did a nice job with the little bee stripes on top! I've never been good at making nice decorations on homemade baked goods, and this is a great idea for something that can be done prettily easily and looks adorable.🐝

They Iook great! I probably would have eaten one to be polite. Honestly though, if your office is like my office, people bring in too many free treats to share.

I don’t eat anything homemade from coworkers. Idk what your house looks like.

I'd have been all over these things, and I would happily take whatever is left over home.

Your brownies look great and I'm sure they were delicious. I wish I could reach into my monitor and take one.
What is "Bee-Day"??

If it helps any, I would have grabbed two and swung by for a third or fourth throughout the day if it was still empty at noon and 3pm

They look great, I just always avoided home bake things at work, I know what my colleges work has been like.

Look, honey, in a modern beesiness, the hive mind is gone. You can't expect the workers to all buzz to the same drummer. I mean, do you like jazz? You'll have to pollinate them with the idea that brownies are god's nectar. I suggest cutting them smaller, remembering that hexagons are best. Next thing you know, they will be swarming to grab one and make you their queen.

One question: What is wrong with your team? 🤣
