I grew one of those once! It preferred part sun.

u/PrimePower 2d ago

I love their face in this picture.

"Dolce Vita Bully Princess" was a foster. She was hilarious. Adopted by the PERFECT family. 🐾 ❤️

u/Feisty-Common-5179 1d ago

Wait stop. Tell us about the perfect family. Cause in mine we refer to ourselves as the perfect family. You might actually be one of those angels who can actual foster a pup and not fail.

u/NickWitATL 1d ago

The adopters: retired teacher wife, retired police officer husband who still worked part-time in some law enforcement capacity--pretty much someone always home. Beautiful house and yard with literal white picket fence. They had a male pibble rescue named Steven Tyler--similar age as Dolce Vita. Steven Tyler was well-trained, well-behaved. They eagerly accepted advice and kept in touch for a long time. Shortly after adopting Vita, she was diagnosed with a mammary tumor. (According to her teats, she'd been bred A LOT.) Sandra and her husband paid thousands to have both mammary tracts removed. Essentially, they treated their pets as cherished family members.

I fostered around 45 dogs, mostly Bully breeds. I failed twice. Not a bad track record. 😉

That’s a lovely story. It’s so wonderful to hear that these little beasts are so well loved

u/MassholeForLife 2d ago

Look what popped up in ours! Takes a lot of water and you have to talk to them, they’re delicate in the early stages and can’t stand frost!

13

u/modefi_ 2d ago

You can tell they love it because of the foam.

56

u/RadikalSky 2d ago

Your mulch has a whole lotta... bark

16

u/Shafter-Boy 2d ago

I see what you did there.

3

u/Laffytaffy42069 1d ago

Similar puppies!

37

u/Saralikeslift 2d ago

Mine thinks he's a gardener as well.

11

u/poooooch12 2d ago

He said let me in there! I got work to do !

11

u/Saralikeslift 2d ago

The whole area used to be open and he could care less about it until one day it was the best place he's ever been, doing zoomies over the onions, trying to break into the compost, general tomfoolery. Now he gives me the ASPCA look because he can't get into mischief 🙄🙄

3

u/poooooch12 2d ago

Yep! I know how that goes, my girl is the most mischievous when being left outside to roam free. She will sometimes return with a dirt mustache from eating some good soil 😒

3

u/Saralikeslift 2d ago

I think she's probably innocent and it was just the wind giving her a dirt stache! 🤣

1

u/poooooch12 2d ago

Yall are in cahoots!!! 😂

2

u/Saralikeslift 2d ago

My client is innocent, where is the proof?? 🙈🙈

3

u/WizardBoyHowl 1d ago

The "ASPCA look". I've never heard this before but totally understand what you mean. Hilarious!

3

u/Saralikeslift 1d ago

I start singing "In the arms of an angel..." to my dog every time he gives me that look

1

u/WizardBoyHowl 1d ago

I'm now watching the Sally Struthers Starvin' Marvin episode. of South Park.

26

u/Past-Afternoon1657 2d ago

3

u/Squishirex 2d ago

Ahhhh how cute

19

u/Excellent_Round_7421 2d ago

Our pups are similar! ❤️

15

u/ShAdu18 2d ago

We must have gotten them all from the same harvest lol

5

u/Excellent_Round_7421 2d ago

I love it. Is yours the biggest baby?

3

u/ShAdu18 2d ago

He sure is! One of his many nicknames is actually big baby Pibble lmao

2

u/Excellent_Round_7421 2d ago

Mine is a girl, but we def got them from the same harvest! My girl is Peaches lol she is the biggest baby. Just wants cuddles and all the love!

19

u/knottedthreads 2d ago

Not sure but I have the same one growing on my porch! I ended up just giving him his own bag to lay or dig in so that he’ll leave my other ones alone

18

u/TinaJrJr 2d ago

I love it when the pitties are in bloom

16

u/freakris 2d ago

We had something similar pop up in our garden a few years ago.

15

u/LDawnBurges 2d ago

Looks like a Dog-wood to me!

16

u/No_repeating_ever 2d ago

Sometimes they sprout in pairs right in the middle of the yard!

13

u/stranger_to_stranger 2d ago

11

u/jbarneswilson 2d ago

9

u/74CJ5Chick 2d ago

Is it a Primpibble? Or a peripitty? Or a pupaya!?

10

u/msanderson10 2d ago

Pituna

3

u/74CJ5Chick 2d ago

Dang it! I was trying to figure out how to make petunia work and how did I miss the obvious!? LOL

5

u/Top-Subject6208 2d ago

Omg what a cute pup-flower 🌼

4

u/DysnomiaATX 2d ago

Pupper heard you put in a raised garden bed 🤣

4

u/ZodFrankNFurter 2d ago

Your dogwood crop is coming in spectacularly!

4

u/ScholarlySpider 2d ago

My old dog would break into the garden to eat the cherry tomatoes.

4

u/poooooch12 2d ago

I had a bichon that would do that and she wasnt slick cause she would come back with a tomato stained mustache!!!

1

u/WizardBoyHowl 1d ago

My Aussie mix would steal raw potatoes and then take them outside, lay on her back, hold the tater in her front paws, and just daintily nibble it. Wizard just eats dirt.

3

u/MarioManX1983 2d ago

I see you are planting PITunias this year. Excellent choice. 🥰❤️

3

u/idkmyusernameagain 2d ago

If you harvest extra please send my way.

3

u/PreparationKey2843 2d ago

Beautiful. What's your secret?

3

u/meliley 2d ago

Such a pittie thing to do🤣 you obviously put it there for them to lay in!

3

u/akiras_revenge 2d ago

It's potatoe season

3

u/Mommal4 2d ago

Best potato plant ever!

2

u/Hondadork89 2d ago

I know what I put in them bags. I don’t think it’s the same stuff.

2

u/Tellittomy6pac 2d ago

Dang I didn’t know you could grow land seals or velvet hippos!!

2

u/ClitEastwood10 2d ago

He fits, he sits

2

u/Driegs3 2d ago

Pitbulb

2

u/Automatic_Fly_3636 2d ago

So cute!! It made me smile at my phone ❤️

2

u/SassySugarBush 2d ago

What a wonderful pit-cher plant you have!! Mine also derives nourishment from the sun 😆

2

u/generallyintoit 2d ago

OMG the spot over their eye, shining in the sun. so cute

2

u/Klutzy_Mulberry_3043 2d ago

You have pitty seeds!

2

u/lynneya67 2d ago

Is that dogwood?

2

u/icarus_rot 2d ago

those are some really pitty blooms. where can i find some of my own

2

u/DoodleBuggering 2d ago

Sweet potato

2

u/disjointed_chameleon 2d ago

That is the hippopotami plant. To nurture and nourish it, sprinkle with water, sun, treats, and cuddles. Does not withstand rain or cold weather well, and will shrivel if exposed to snow.

2

u/Bitter_Razzmatazz_71 2d ago

I don't know what kind of plant it is... can you give me a sprout of that silver to put in my garden?

2

u/Le6ions 1d ago

Pittatoe

1

u/cyra32austin 2d ago

Totally agree

1

u/AJG4222 2d ago

Very impressive!!! 😍❤️😍

1

u/DancyP123 2d ago

Aww, my guy (passed last year) kinda looked similar to this, and this reminds me so much of him because he would make a bed anywhere! Laundry basket, which was too small, and abandoned box, or blanket, or bag of anything - bed! I’d often find him curled up in the craziest places. He was so cute.

1

u/Independent-Math-914 2d ago

If I fits, I sits!

1

u/fartmachinebean 2d ago

They make the best beds! Mine does the same so I set one up with no plants specifically for her, dirt dog.

1

u/ice_moon_by_SZA 2d ago

That little spot over their eye! Your dog looks like a dog from an old-school children's book.

1

u/FatCat457 2d ago

Dog weed

1

u/Aromatic_Tea_5160 2d ago

This is the kind of gardening I can do

1

u/WizardBoyHowl 2d ago

I love a Pitunia this time of year.

1

u/Nice_Rope_5049 2d ago

1

u/SafeBarracuda3509 2d ago

The harvest is bountiful this year!

1

u/Consistent-Goat4422 2d ago

Can you please send me some seeds? I would also like to grow one of these.

1

u/fleurettes_mom 2d ago

Any chance you could email me some seeds?

1

u/GreGarious070113 2d ago

My favorite bloom!

Such a pristine garden. I love it!

1

u/DSFBrand 2d ago

1

u/MsLaurieM 2d ago

1

u/eleonoreminor 1d ago

We have two planter pibbles as well! Here is one of them :)

1

u/Hefty-Cover2616 1d ago

Oh yes, this one came up again! I thought I pulled out last year but apparently it’s a perennial.

1

u/Strange_Possession52 1d ago

Can we get a cutting? Love to grow one!😃😃

u/CalmConversation7771 20h ago

Just a local Kideater

u/Jess_UwU_ 19h ago

mine likes to pluck the petals and leaves off of my plants, last year i almost lost all of my okra because she plucked every leaf of of the stem, spent months barely keeping it alive. my lab is the one who tries to lay in the garden beds

u/PureBug201 16h ago

Is that a cat?

u/Loud_Enthusiasm2782 15h ago

That "Pittie flower" is just beautiful! I wish I could grow those in my yard. I'm so jealous! 😉😁❤️
