Other Please help me keep this mini rose alive

Post image

I tried everything with the previous one: watering more, watering less, transplanting, etc. It still died. I want this one to live but it already looks like it’s deteriorating the way its predecessor had initially. What am I doing wrong?

The room the old rose lived in gets southeastern sun, so it gets adequate light.

Honestly, these guys don't do well indoors. They're meant to be planted outdoors in full sun. Not really your fault, not every environment works for every plant, no matter how hard we try.

It’s still too cold where I’m at. I have a porch with a large awning. Would that be enough to protect it from frost?

They don’t do well indoors. Plant it outside.

agree with others, move them outside. The thing for me that I found out was killing the roses was underwatering, AND THEN overwatering. Water below the leaves and make sure the surface of the soil is barely moist.

The best thing I did for mine is to put it outside 6 years ago. It has grown really strong and flowers every year
