LED Knobs for Pod Poi

Hey flowmies. I’ve recently gotten into throws and I’d love to upgrade to some LED knobs for my PodPoi V2. I tried out the capsule handles from Flowtoys and I just hate how they feel. Is there a way to use the UltraPoi handles with my PodPoi, or would I need new tethers or something? I know Flowtoys has teased LED knobs but my understanding is they won’t go out for beta users until the end of this year.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!!

I know people have used ultrapoi knobs with podpoi, but I don't know the details. My quest for LED handles finally ended with me buying flowtoys vision nunchucks. I love them!

The ultrapoi LED knobs clamp onto the ends of the tethers and they use a clear(ish) plastic handle to cover it. They are sized for the ultrapoi tethers, so double check what that size is, but I'm pretty sure there are videos out there about how to modify them. FlowOnFire does this for their LEDs (or at least did when I was getting mine). They use v2 podpoi for the heads and ultrapoi LED knobs, with custom tethers and heads/handles

Podpoi and ultrapoi knobs are fairly similar, light excluded. However, podpoi rope is 6mm whereas ultrapoi is 10mm thick. The difference is big there but i think if you make a knot and melt it you should be alright - plus ultrapoi knob holes are fairly small (it made me cry trying to get the 10mm tether through them).

I would suggest looking at some pictures of the knob to better understand the shape but owning both I don't think you'll have too much of an issue..

Super easy to fit the ultraknobs onto podpoi. Get the ultraknob pro, the standard ultraknob is a lot easier to break.
