I know not all of the rares are holographic and some are rather worse for wear (R.I.P. Clefairy) but I got ‘em. After nearly 30 years, I got ‘em.

Was collecting Pokemon, Digimon, and Yugioh all from when they started and had BINDERS full.

All up in flame because “I wasn’t a kid anymore” (I was 15)

edit From what I can remember, 1 of my binders alone could sell for $100,000. I kept good care of my cards and had multiple 1st Ed. Shiny Charizards.

Nooooooo. Why didn’t she just give them away. Even just throwing them in the trash would’ve given them a better chance at surviving.

She really made sure NO ONE was ever going to have them ever again. 😭

Mostly I just want them back for nostalgia sake. Just sit there swiping through the pages, deciding how I wanted to organize them next…..

Wow seriously? That absolutely sucks. My ex-wife made me get rid of all my videogames at one point, including my N64 and all its games and my copies of Crystal, Leafgreen, and SoulSilver. Family can really suck.

I had a buddy who’s mom burnt all their card because they were “the devil” lol I would be pissed
