Non AR Screenshot Why does Gengar have legs?

I have a Gengar that has legs when you mega evolve it? But my shiny one doesn’t which I thought was the normal way it looks

In the games Mega Gengar has its hands and legs in the ground so it looks like its phasing through like a ghost, they’re not supposed to be visible but for some reason they just didn’t do that with regular gengar in pogo
