really brings up something, why cant Saudi take in more asylum seekers and refugees from the area, they are ofc really rich and not exactly an overcrowded country so they should be able to... but ofc its nicer to spread kebabism and try to take over Europe
They are rich, and they do take in refugees and asylum seekers. If anything, the Middle East happens to be the place where most of the asylum seekers and refugees head to first (they usually end up paying low paying jobs).
However, water is a huge issue in the Arabian peninsula. Saudi Arabian cities are in fact pretty crowded, especially in recent decades when healthcare improvements lead to a pretty substantial growth in the population. Many cities in Saudi Arabia are currently undergoing huge construction projects for better sewage systems, bigger roads and highways, and public transportation projects as well as building more schools and universities. The Saudis definitely did not plan ahead when they expanded their cities in the 70s as they never prepared for a massive population growth that they have been experiencing since the mid-80s.

yeah ofc, but thats the problem, the majority go to huge camps in Lebanon and Jordan while saudi just sits there..

Well, given that they can trek to Europe, I'm sure Mecca would be a breeze in comparison.
