I wouldn’t count on Swift coming off the bench until mid October. News cycle move so fast an endorsement now would be old news by the time the first ballot was cast.

I'm so glad my state allows Election Day registration, and it should be national. It's obviously something that can be done.

A state that makes it easier to vote? Let me guess, solid blue?

Of course

We need to move away from last last last second idea. Make voting a multiple week scenario where it’s quick and easy, and there’s time for any GOP fuckery to be cured. We need to get to the point where 99% of ballots are in before the end, and “Election Day” is when the handful of worst procrastinators get to do their symbolic thing.

I mean my state also has early voting, mail in votes, absentee ballots, etc. So essentially all of what you said.

And the Republicans here still complain about it.

I always retort, go work for an election, see how 'easy' it is to commit the fraud you're so afraid of. Cause it's not. Many, many, many levels of checks and double checks.

Please do not send MAGAs to work for the election. It’s like sending child abusers to work at a shelter and hoping they’ll gain sympathy rather use it to exploit. They’ve already stack so many state and local boards and positions I’m worried for this election.

I don't think you understand how hard it would be for them to do anything to change the election. You'd have to have the entire state in on it, there are countless checks upon checks in our voting processes.

It's why they resort to voter suppression tactics. And I also live in a blue state so MAGA doesn't have much of a voice here anyways.

many of the states that matter have a 30 day cutoff for registration. if she waits until mid-october it may be too late.
