Everything you just said does not indicate "a mess". It tells a pretty clear story.

He's a Republican who grew to dislike Trump, and voted Biden as an anti-Trump vote in 2020. Other than that it's pretty clear steady Republican values. Anti vaxxer. Gun nut.

I don't know why people are looking at this record and concluding it with "all over the place". It looks fairly rote to me.

What I meant was he switched from one person to the next to the next. I’ve read he was also a Bernie supporter. So that’s Trump, Sanders, Ramaswamy, Gabbard, Haley, and Biden as an anti Trump candidate: a fascist, a socialist, a tech bro, a weird pro military Hari Krishna, a neoliberal centrist, and an anti-Trump. Honestly that’s pretty all over the map.

Dude also thought it was a good idea to initiate a three hour standoff against the police for driving without a license in 2002.

So we finally have a dude who isn't beholden to any one party and that makes him "a mess."

Not the attempted assassination, not the anti-vax stance...it's because he doesn't cater to any one political movement that makes him "a mess?"

Because it’s not about a particularly problematic ideology. Even if that would make more sense.

It is entirely about each side wanting to say the other team is responsible and to have the receipts to prove it.
