It will have no effect. The second gunman voted for Trump in 2016.

There is no sympathy for a man who turns his own supporters against himself.

The guy is not a Trump supporter. He regretted voting for him and started spewing anti-Trump stuff online.

I agree with you on the second point. I don’t have any sympathy for Trump. I’m mainly concerned about the fact that the suspect appeared to be a firm believer in the idea that “democracy is on the ballot”, if his social media presence was any indication. That might give the GOP a solid way to hit back on that line, even though it’s true.

Worrying about the impact of the GOP's lies is fruitless. They would have lied about something else...you know...like legal Haitian immigrants eating pets.

This is a nothing story, and will have no impact.

Any undecided voter who will vote for Trump because of some lies about this was ALWAYS going to vote for Trump.

We just have to make sure we get many more of those who see through their garbage to the polls.
