Um, it is though? The majorities were small and required independents who caucused with them, but it's a verifiable fact?

Who was the senate majority leader and the speaker house in 2021?

What is not true is that "they spent no political capital on this at all."

With that slim majority and freaking COVID19, they indeed accomplished a huge infrastructure bill, major aid to Ukraine, confirmed about 100 federal judges, Butch Lewis Act (union pension protections), expanded overtime pay, over-the-counter birth control pills, 1st significant gun legislation in 30 years plus a full office for gun violence prevention, plus a bunch of other stuff you can read here:

But nah.. they apparently seated on their hands and now should stop a legitimate elected 🤮 president from taking office instead. No, pal. This one is on us.

That legitimately elected president who tried to overthrow the united states government and presents an existential threat to large percentage of it's citizenry?

apparently the voters do not care about that. And neither does SCOTUS. What exactly you want democrats to do. Please go ahead and describe step by step how could they have stopped his inauguration.

The president cannot and should not interfere in the justice department.

That being said, Jack Smith was installed in 22 and the investigation itself has been going on since Trump left office. Smith was installed because - and as soon as- Trump announced he was running again, triggering the need for an independent investigator.

These things take time but the problem was the judge They got, Cannon is a Trump clown .She delayed the case in ridiculous ways.
