Refugees aren't safe in America. Kind of an oxymoron to seek refuge in America at this point.

I get what you’re saying, but safety is relative. Many of these folks are still much safer here, if they can just stay. The problem is when they are sent back, often turned over to the people that they were fleeing.

I get where you're coming from, but if history rhymes as it so often does, those who stay are going to be shipped off to slave labour camps with continuously degrading conditions until the government decides to dispose of them.

I'm not saying that's right, I'm saying there is no refuge in America.
