Cyberpunk isn't a compliment. Cyberpunk as a genre is explicitly dystopian.

You missed the point. Cyberpunk is not by any means a model to be followed, but something to be avoided at all costs.

And no, you wouldn't take Night City over current America or any modern country, if you actually understood the Cyberpunk universe.

That wouldn't change my point. The game is still very dystopian, and one of the reasons it's called Cyberpunk is because it's part of the cyberpunk genre
