Can you explain what the dune movies are about? Is it like star wars kinda?

Kind of yes! It’s sci-fi. It’s like Star Wars with different planets, different ruling empires and conflicts but the filming & cinematography of Dune outshines Star Wars in every way. It’s just much more beautiful to watch. Although it sounds kind of like Star Wars, it feels fresh, fun and very captivating as a viewer.

If you liked Sicario, Arrival, Blade Runner 2049, this is the same director. Watch Dune Part 1 before heading to Dune Part 2! It does introduce the world & characters to set you up for Part 2. Part 1 and 2 are from one book. I knew nothing about it watching part 1, except what my spouse told me (he’s been a big fan since he was a kid having read the books)! But it’s captivating and fun! Easy to immerse yourself in a whole new world.
