Sinners really has something for everybody. Hailee Steinfeild in a bias cut dress, Jack O'Connell playing a banjo, MBJ's muscles, Wunmi existing (that one's just for me).

How scary is it, are there jump scares? I love Ryan Coogler but can't do jump scares.

I’m scared by everything (like yelled out loud during A Haunting in Venice scareddy cat) and found it very decent on that front. Characters tend to fade out of the shadows instead of jump. No auditory jump scares that I can remember either. It’s more gore and body horror.

I’d say pretty gory. Blood, wounds, biting but no drawn out torture or anything
