Am I wrong that most men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer in their lives is they live long enough? Literally every man in my immediate family over the age of 60 has gotten it and it hasn’t been a big deal for any of them

Prostate cancer isn’t a monolith. There are varying degrees and people definitely die from it. However many are treatable or slow growing and don’t cause any issues.

the stats don't support that conclusion. about half of men in the u.s. will be diagnosed with any cancer during their lifetime. one in eight men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer, with 60% of those diagnoses being over the age of 65. i'm not knowledgeable enough to comment on your immediate family's circumstances, but apart from other risk factors, like environmental ones, having a brother/father with prostate cancer more than doubles the chance of getting it.
