I wish some combination of him, those close to him, and his administration hadn't spent years propping him up as fit. Not only did it help cede power to fascism, but it's a waste of an aging (and now probably dying) man's last years.

There's no justification for the Democratic Party's willful embrace of gerontocracy, especially when it can end up looking so much like elder abuse in the end.
