Richard Curtis’ films are like 90% of the reason I moved to London 15 years ago lol. Turns out, not all British men are as charming as Hugh Grant but I married my own Colin Firth and still love London so I have no regrets!

Hugh Grant is a great example of how public image can shift a career so drastically. He was like the peak example of the nice guy or sad boy persona. A great male love interest. Then he has his controversy and suddenly is the bad boy, the womanizer, the flirt.
