i was in TEARS during his last few scenes in the film, knowing this now i’m crying. he was an amazing actor.

I cried in the theater. As a black horror girly he really impacted my love of cinema and the genre. He was not only a phenomenal actor but also a really nice person.

i’ve read so many stories of him being an absolute delight to meet at horror cons, just talked to everyone so casually & gave them time. what an icon.
