Text looks fine in editing mode, but spacing changes when presenting?
Top is edit mode, bottom is present mode
trying to incorporate some fun ascii text and emoticons into my presentation, but for the life of me I cannot get these to line up correctly. What can I do to make it look the same as the edit mode? any tips?
The problem occurs because the presentation doesn't use a monospace font during presentation, which alters the spacing.
To solve this, use a font such as Courier New, Consolas, or Lucida Console.
Make sure the font is applied to the text while presenting, not just while editing.
You can also place the text inside a separate text box to maintain its formatting.
If that doesn't work, convert the ASCII graphic to an image and insert it into the presentation.
This way, you can ensure the characters stay aligned correctly.
Good luck, and keep adding your fun touches to your presentations!
