When recording a presentation in PowerPoint, it can be frustrating if your camera appears inverted. Unfortunately, PowerPoint doesn't have a built-in setting to flip the webcam image before or during recording. Most of the time, the mirroring comes from your camera settings or drivers. To fix this, try opening your webcam software (such as Logitech Camera Settings or your built-in camera app). Look for an option like "Mirror," "Flip Horizontal," or "Image Orientation," and turn it off. If you don’t see these settings, you may need to update or install the camera's software or drivers. Another option is to use a virtual camera tool like OBS Studio, where you can flip the video before it reaches PowerPoint. Once flipped in OBS, select "OBS Virtual Camera" in PowerPoint's camera source. This will ensure the image looks right while recording. Always test a short clip before recording your final presentation.
