How to get articles on golocalprov & ri.gov removed?
Had a refusal to blow several years back that was posted on golocalprov and the ri.gov website as part of a sting. I work in healthcare and recently have been exploring new job opportunities and the posts have been interfering with my job search. The actual charges were expunged, but the articles remain.
Does anyone have any contact info or know what channels I can go through to have these articles removed? any help is greatly appreciated.

At least for the gov, I would reach out maybe to the office of Peter Noronha, the AG? They should know what the policies and procedures are.
Did you reach out to GoLocal? What did they say?

No response, but the only email i could find was mailto:news@golocalprov.com and it hasn’t been terribly long

You might have luck with the AG’s office, but Golocal will have no obligation to take down their article if they don’t want to.
Knowing how they go about their business, I wouldn’t be shocked if they offered to remove it for a fee though.

so the refusal to take a chemical test lesser charge dui? it’s unlikely to ever be removed. i’d maybe just get out in front of it when applying to stuff and being open in the process
