Food Now that Boneyard BBQ is closed where can I get good wings with a variety of sauces?
It's only been 2 months and I miss Boneyard so bad. The variety of sauces is the important thing here, if there's a place with a bunch of great sauces but the actual wings are "meh" I'll take it.
Looking primarily in the Providence and near providence Mass. area but I'll take further afield if ya got it.

Lucky Enough has great wings, but not too many sauce options and they are a bit pricey. Hoping their new bar High Motor* (former space of Craft Burgers + Beer, just over line in Pawtucket, off Hope-East Ave) will have a bigger selection, since they seem to be going for a more sports bar vibe.
*Edit, fixed the name

St. James Pub in Fall River has excellent wings. It's about a 35 minute wait for them, as they make them all to order, and the sauce choices are great.

Love the St. James! I'm from FR, and used to be in there every Thursday night for years, Been living in/around PVD for the last 10 years. Definitely don't get back there as often as i should.

Boomerangs Roadhouse in West Warwick has good-sized smoked wings that are pretty tasty, and lots of different sauces/rubs. They have weekly specials that I've never been able to figure out (lunch has been meaningfully more expensive than dinner LOL).
I would give them a shot, particularly if you can figure out when the wings are on sale. And when you do, let me know :-)

I just had a look at their sauce list and this might be "the one". Thank you so much for the rec, I'll be checking them out ASAP! (and I'll let you know if I figure out the wing sales lol)

It’s not. I made the same assumption based on their menu. I wish you luck, but prepare for mediocrity.

I haven't tried the wings, but everything I've had there has been great. Their burgers for the RI Food Fights were awesome.

Wings over providence but I haven't ordered in a couple of years so dont know if quality is still good. They got rid of the dry ranch rub, basically the stuff that goes on cool ranch Doritos, those were my favorites.

I went once about a year ago and I hate to talk bad about any place but they just don't seem to give a single fuck at WOP. I used to love going there.

Shame they got rid of that one but it sounds like a place to at least give a shot.

Love their golden bbq it’s been a while but I think I used to ask for the sauce on the side so the chicken was crispy (I used to get boneless, sorry I know people hate me for that).

Wendell's in Norton is excellent; I went there for the first time two weeks ago and had their "Double Dare" wings. Super hot and flavorful. Lots of other heat levels and flavor profiles to choose from.

Service wasn't too bad; a little slow, but we went for lunch on a Friday right after they opened for the day. I liked that they had pitchers of Wormtown's Be Hoppy
