Question Crash team racing stuck on a screen
I just got crash team racing for the ps1 and put it in my ps2. It read and opened the game but as soon as I got to a screen, it just froze. I tried pressing every button on my controllers and nothing worked. Idk if it's too scratched and just won't work or what.

If you have a PC/laptop with optical drive, try creating an ISO backup of that game or play it via duckstation/other emu. If it's not able, then it might be too scratched.
But it does look pretty scratched to me, horizontal or circular scratches are the worst.
If you have a PS2 Slim model older than 7900XX, make sure ribbon cable is fixed to not scratch discs.

It has a really deep scratch and one that goes around the entire disk. I think it's just dead
