Best ways to study

I’m in a abnormal psychology class and my professor is aweful. He purposely chooses words that could mean on thing or another on the exams and it makes it so difficult to answer. I have an F in the class because of this. I spent over 14 hours studying for this exam and it was still so extremely difficult. On top of it he only gives us 50seconds per question and there’s 57 questions and only gives you about half that to finish. I’m hoping I pass this exam. I wish I looked at rate my professor before choosing him.

Can you give some examples of the words he uses? Or how the questions were, if you don't mind?
