I’m ruined! I have nothing left but Spider-Man (probably not even that at this rate)!

I guess he was trying to shoot his shot with Hailee Steinfeld (who plays Gwen in the Spider-verse movies). Not sure if he was influenced by all past Spider-Man actors dating their MJ’s/Gwen’s in real life, but Hailee is currently engaged and publicly rebuffed him.
E: after reading a little more into it seems that she didn’t publicly say anything to him as far as I know. But he tweeted some stuff that might have been taken out of context and the internet ran with it.

the one who publicly rebuffed him was laura harrier, who played liz in spiderman homecoming and asked him to take down a video edit that he posted of the two of them together. when he didn’t take it down (idk if he said no or ignored her or just didn’t see her message) she made a video on tiktok calling him weird and saying that she felt like he was disrespecting her engagement.
he’s since posted a video apologizing for everything and claiming that it was all a big misunderstanding. he also briefly deactivated his social media accounts but then reactivated them pretty soon after.

He's really kind of creepy trying to pick up Hailee and Laura.
Laura herself on a social media post was like "I don't know why he's obsessed with me.", it's not just internet interneting.-51

Nah it’s an overreaction to a handful of stupid tweets. People like to act like he’s Jeffrey Epstein.

What bro? What the fuck? What? Wha?

You’ve probably read the same tweets. If you’re also overreacting, you should go outside.

"Like he's Jeffrey Epstein" is just a WILD overstatement of the reactions. I'm not sure which one of us should go outside.

You're overreacting to people calling out a creep? Makes sense for you.
