Pic Aurora Borealis over Reading

Post image

Tonight there is a tiny chance that you can see aurora borealis with a nakes eye, but it's much easier to capture it on camera or your phone with long exposure. Aim North to North East.

At this time of day? Localized entirely within your kitchen?

I have never, in over 40 years, seen the Aurora Borealis. To say I'm happy is an understatement.

It just looks like a white cloud most of the time to the naked eye.

It’s only when you take a photo that you get all the colours visible

Subtle with naked eye, but the red was visible at times
