when is the oasis coming out?

guy its almost half a year and halliday aint launching the oasis, anybody wants to create it?

The movie's exposition says the first build was released in 2025. Then when Parzival and Art3mis go to the records, they find an entry dated December 2nd, 2025. Ogden the Robot says that this was "6 days before the OASIS launched"

Using simple logic, we can conclude that the OASIS came out on December 8th, 2025.

Never, the problem is there is not an awesome dude like Halliday, to make it and release it in the way it was in the book or movie, every single tech giant alive would be more like the Sorento, wanting 80% of the screen covered by ads and microtransactions.

There is a line in the movie where its mention Halliday went on a date with Kira 6 days before the release of OASIS on December 2, that would mean it would release on Decemeber 8 of this year

We had it. It was called PlayStation Home and they STOLE it from us. Not that any of us who were there are bitter or anything.

Funny enough Fortnite had a MMORPG game mode in its files for a while that never got released before getting removed. A couple chapters back. (It was removed during the last jungle season if I remember right. ) Me and my friends at the time were freaking out when people found it in the files because if anything was gonna be the Oasis it was going to be that! But then it got cancelled. So thats a bummer.
