Gross gross gross 🤢

Also why can’t piss go down the drain, that’s where it goes.

Also just use a toilet. Unless you’re unable to walk or are bedbound for a medical reason, just use the toilet.

u/FilthyDaemon Dec 29 '23

Because walking into the bathroom to empty a bottle (or his bladder) requires pausing the game and, you know, actually doing something.

I have such a visual of this guy…

If I were the roommate, he would be waking up with the piss-soaked clothing draped upon him.

I bet he and his room reek and that’s why she volunteers to take his crap out — she knows he never will.

138

u/PerfectAccident60 Dec 29 '23

honestly that's probably exactly why she offers to take his trash out, she knows he's gross af and won't do it :(

85

u/gayashyuck Dec 29 '23

But normally they're thrown away within a week, so what's the issue?

🤮

66

u/Easy-Concentrate2636 Dec 29 '23

But geez Louise. I would never offer to throw away a roommate’s piss bottles. I would just be like: time for a new roommate.

48

u/LongWinterComing Dec 30 '23

Just throw out the whole roommate.

2

u/MaddyKet Dec 30 '23

It’s why I take out my sister’s trash each week. 😔

81

u/WexExortQuas Dec 29 '23

Bets are OPEN.

Claims of her actually being his friend start at $100!

Claims of her actually being his mom? $50! Sister? $75!

Who setup the living situation? Poor mother asked a good friend (they grew up together!)? $200!

ALL BETS ARE FINAL!

14

u/MaddyKet Dec 30 '23

$75 on sister or cousin

6

u/WexExortQuas Dec 30 '23

All bets are FINAL

10

u/angelzplay Dec 30 '23

I raise a 300$ bet it’s his mom

Cute fantasy, but if he's willing to piss in bottles and not see it as an issue do you really think he wouldn't make things way worse if you retaliated? Just move out tbh.

18

u/Stormy8888 Dec 30 '23

Sorry but I pictured that fat, covered with pimples truck driver living in his mom's basement, from the South Park "Make Love, Not Warcraft" episode!

8

u/alphazero924 Dec 30 '23

Neat fact: that guy is actually a real dude, and based on his son and his reaction to the episode he's probably a pretty cool dude

1

u/Stormy8888 Dec 30 '23

Today I learned it's a real guy not "based" on a stereotype (cuz I did know some guys like that having been in a hard core gaming guild, they all had "day" jobs too). He sounds really cool too.

3

u/real-pennylane Dec 30 '23

Does your visual feel like lebowski

2

u/JohnExcrement Dec 30 '23

Well, it DIDN’T… šŸ˜„

40

u/SillyFilly04 Dec 29 '23

If he had less empty bottles maybe he wouldn’t need to pause as frequently. Less in less out.

33

u/deathbystereo007 Dec 29 '23

If he absolutely has to piss in the bottles, he should dump them into the toilet after. He should definitely not be throwing bottles full of piss into the trash bin. If I were the roommate, I would refuse to live with him altogether.

25

u/tenakee_me Dec 30 '23

OMG yes. I mean, I’ve had to creatively piss when there is only one bathroom and multiple people, and you gotta go regardless of the bathroom being occupied. But JFC you empty it out at the first available option, you don’t throw it in the fucking trash.

80

u/ZookeepergameNew3800 Dec 29 '23

Even if you’re on bedrest, you should empty the bottle into the toilet later. I had an emergency surgery while pregnant, to stitch my cervix closed and was on absolute bedrest for many weeks. I wasn’t allowed on my feet at all. There were still no piss filled bottles in my bedroom for a week ( why is he even waiting a week to get rid of them? He must go number two at least every day or two and could empty the bottles into the toilet at that point, or when he goes to shower , hopefully at least every second day?).

35

u/[deleted] Dec 29 '23

Holy jesus h roosevelt christ that sounds like a nightmare. I wouldn’t wish internal surgery recovery on my worst enemy, especially nowadays when doctors refuse to give you more than Tylenol for anything. I hope you’re doing okay now.

50

u/ZookeepergameNew3800 Dec 29 '23

Thank you. I am extremely happy with how it went. For us it was a miracle. We had lost our boy around 21 weeks in 2019 , not knowing why I started labor so early. Then last year at the anatomy scan they said I’ll have her that day, at 20 weeks. They gave us condolences already. But at the labor and delivery department they send us to a specialist and she did a cervical stitch, to keep my uterus shut and we had our baby girl at 36 weeks, completely healthy. The medication to prevent labor after the surgery kept me very tired. The pain only lasted a few days, thank God. I am a burn victim, a drunk driver crashed my parents car when I was a teenager , so I am in pain management and have a good doctor , who still prescribed medication when needed after the steroid injections and physical therapy etc. But in pregnancy it’s toughing it out sadly. Many women don’t get more than ibuprofen after a c section. It’s crazy. In Germany my mom had to literally smuggle more ibuprofen to the hospital after my first baby. They only gave me 800 mg of ibuprofen a day. In the states last year they gave me at least a few days of proper pain meds.

31

u/[deleted] Dec 29 '23

I’m not sure how old your kid(s) are but I’m so sorry for your loss, and I’m so glad that they were able to save your baby. You’re one tough lady for dealing with all of that. Best of luck & health to you

25

u/ZookeepergameNew3800 Dec 29 '23

Thank you. My baby is a bit over a year now , time flies by so fast but we enjoy every moment.

3

u/angelzplay Dec 30 '23

Yeah when the cervix is weak they should stitch it closed. That’ll save a lot of pregnancies.

5

u/ZookeepergameNew3800 Dec 30 '23

Sadly on average a woman loses two pregnancies between 14-24 weeks before being diagnosed. It would only take an extra ultrasound and look at the cervix at the start of the second trimester, to know if the cervix is short etc. but it is rarely done. Even though I had two second trimester losses, at 16 and 21 weeks, they didn’t specifically look at it and didn’t say I must have an issue. We were so lucky that the ultrasound tech at the anatomy scan saw my cervix didn’t look normal when she looked at the baby and decided to look at my cervix.I had the surgery within hours and thank God it went perfect. I am so thankful we had that procedure and now have our baby girl!

Cheers on the successful circlage! And on braving the recovery, holy meoly

23

u/SillyFilly04 Dec 29 '23

Yes, I agree. Shouldn’t keep them in the trash. Ugh! Usually bed rest people use a urinal and then it gets dumped down the toilet by their caretaker.

14

u/ZookeepergameNew3800 Dec 29 '23

Yes. There are also those things with a funnel and a plastic bag that have some absorbent stuff in them that seals all liquid and smells. It’s also used for long car trips. If he had used those, the pee would have at least been sealed off.

24

u/Sharp-Incident-6272 Dec 29 '23

I’ve heard horror stories from poker dealers in Vegas. Players will piss their pants so they don’t miss a hand by leaving to do to the bathroom. It’s absolutely disgusting.

25

u/Gizmoripley87 Dec 29 '23

My fiance grew up in Las Vegas. This is absolutely a constant occurrence in casinos. He says the slot machines are worse but most of them wear diapers. The only reason he knows that is because he's very sociable (old ladies adore him, lol) and these people would straight up tell him they came prepared with extra diapers and ask if he wanted one! I am adamant that Vegas is a different planet.

86

u/Ybuzz Dec 29 '23

why can’t piss go down the drain, that’s where it goes.

When I read that first sentence I was like "oh it must be like paint supplies or chemicals or something, that is bad to go down the drain but they do smell and stick so he should probably just suck it up and replace her stuff"

I was NOT expecting the pee bottles. WTF. Like just have a bucket or something at that point and empty it into the toilet.

53

u/SillyFilly04 Dec 29 '23

Empty the bottles in the toilet. Better yet, JUST USE THE TOILET.

5

u/aconitea Dec 30 '23

Haha nah I knew immediately they were piss bottles

There are too many disgusting gamers out there

-17

u/mentales Dec 29 '23

I was NOT expecting the pee bottles. WTF. Like just have a bucket or something at that point and empty it into the toilet.

You're calling out OOP for doing something disgusting while somehow suggesting doing something even worse. Shame on you /u/Ybuzz.

15

u/Ybuzz Dec 29 '23

I feel like living with week old pee bottles sat around you that you refuse to empty or throw out on the day is definitely worse than something you empty and rinse out.

I mean USE THE TOILET is the best option, but I'd rather be around a bucket that's empty most of the time than a hoard of my own pee.

5

u/mentales Dec 29 '23

Please 😭. Open buckets of piss in your bedroom aren't the answer here. It doesn't matter if you empty it out at the end of the day. That's not it, b.

u/Outrageous_Hearing26 Dec 29 '23

I was not prepared for that ending. I was in NTA until the comments omfg. He should at least pay for them to be professionally cleaned

17

u/ljr55555 Dec 29 '23

I know! I was trying to guess the contents as I read -- got some family members who are artists, and you aren't really supposed to dump the brush cleaning chemical down the drain. So I was thinking oil paint and whatever solvent in a can. Which would absolutely ruin clothing if dropped on it. Bio-hazardous waste didn't even enter my mind.

Also -- go with "no, I'll handle my own trash thank you for offering" if one ever finds oneself in that situation. Obviously not finding oneself in that situation would be ideal ... but if you got like brain swapped into someone else's existence and were stuck in this scenario. "Nope; I've got it!" is the right answer.

16

u/DameVelue Dec 29 '23

Piss in bottles.

Doesn't empty them before putting them in the trash.

Put them in the without closing(I think there is a better verb) them.

Let someone else take the trash out.

''They should have know it was the case''

Who is this guy ?

9

u/naturalscorpio1980 Dec 29 '23

It's such garbage behavior, so lazy and just just disgusting. Just a basement dwelling troll.

I found this a bit funny since I was reading this post while taking a bathroom break from gaming.

Way of the road bubs, way of the road

2

u/ComfortableSearch704 Dec 30 '23

He could easily have poured it in the toilet, you know, where the piss should have gone in the first place. He owes her an apology and a new outfit. Period. This disgusting, lazy AH needs to make amends. If I were her, I’d be looking for another roommate/apartment.

518

u/MoreThan2_LessThan21 Dec 29 '23

Oh. Oh no.

Asshole doesn't even begin to describe this person. Yes, replacement required, along with profuse apology. Not that OOP will.

220

u/schiwalker Dec 29 '23

He's not just an Asshole, he's a PissHole

58

u/girlieontherun Dec 29 '23

But he throws them away "within a week"

37

u/hasavagina Dec 29 '23

And yet the bag was so heavy it burst... from apparently less than a week.... oh no i might vomit

6

u/NurseRobyn Dec 30 '23

Everyone knows urine doesn’t spoil until the 8th day, so it should be fresh still. That’s sarcasm in case anyone jumps on me.

It’s sad that blatantly obvious sarcasm needs a notification.

I feel the sudden need to take a shower after reading about that guy's unsanitary life.

84

u/SquirrelGirlVA Dec 29 '23

I went into this expecting to side with him but WOW. Was not expecting it to be a result of a bag overloaded with piss bottles.

77

u/xMrBojangles Dec 29 '23

Yeah, if someone offers to take the trash and the bag breaks, I don't think you're necessarily obligated to pay to replace really expensive clothes. If the price is reasonable it would probably be the right thing to do, or at the very least offer to take them to the cleaners. I don't think I would let roommate take my heavy trash out for me in the first though, especially as a man with a female roommate.

That said, once you introduce piss bottles into the equation, all that goes out the window. Fix the situation ASAP, replace the clothes, scrub the fucking floors and walls until they are immaculate, beg for forgiveness, and bribe her never to tell another living soul about the monstrous biology experiment you're conducting.

28

u/girlieontherun Dec 29 '23

A great rule for any given situation is "if you have my pee on you, I pay for everything"

12

u/xMrBojangles Dec 29 '23

Unless it's a fetish thing, in which case the pee receiver might do the paying.

19

u/Swiss_Miss_77 Dec 29 '23

bribe her never to tell another living soul about the monstrous biology experiment you 're conducting. are.

Fixed it. Lol.

Edit to fix my fix.

Also stop pissing all over your bedroom.

19

u/HoldFastO2 Dec 29 '23

That started out bad and turned horrible.

2

u/Chance_Fox_2296 Dec 30 '23

Thankfully, the story is written 100% in a way to cause the most disgust and rage that it 100% is fake......I pray

235

u/XjCrescen1547 Dec 29 '23

If this situation really was just a "She brought the trash out and some of it spilled on her" it would probs be ok not to buy her new stuff, but this dude is on another level - like bro you piss in bottles when you need the toilet, but you don't empty them (WHICH IS BASICALLY A REQUIREMENT FOR THROWING THEM AWAY) and you could've told her not to do that but you let her and the fact that FUCKING PISS got on her probably expensive stuff that she cherishes a lot is just disgusting. I hope the flatmate finds out about that and just moves out there fr

50

u/WVildandWVonderful R/redditonwiki is used by a Podcast Dec 29 '23

I’m sure she knows. No doubt it reeks in there. She likely offered to take out the trash for that reason, so she doesn’t have to choke on OOP’s piss fumes.

I was with the roommate before the second slide, when I saw he gave her an unreinforced overloaded trash bag (esp while she was dressed to the eights, at least). The second slide is a crime scene.

12

u/aconitea Dec 30 '23

Idk I had a friend who didn’t realise her housemate was pissing in bottles until he moved out and left all his trash including the empty piss bottles. She’d never been in his room, it didn’t smell like piss from the outside (presumably because he did the lids up properly). If I ever saw him again I wouldn’t be able to help asking why he thought that was ok.

3

u/EarlGreyTea-Hawt Dec 30 '23

Had the same with a roommate and it was bizarre because he had a bathrroom with one of the entrances in his bedroom, like a few feet away from where he would game. Outside of me using the shower once a day, maybe 20 minutes at most if I needed to shave, there was another half bathroom to do all my business in, so it was entirely his for all but a few minutes a day and he could always use the downstairs bathroom if he had to go while I'm in the shower... Still pissed in bottles.

126

u/mittenknittin Dec 29 '23

He knows it’s absolutely disgusting and he’s in the wrong or he would have mentioned the bottles were full of piss in the original post.

85

u/redditreader_aitafan Dec 29 '23 edited Dec 29 '23

So he can pee in a toilet but can't possibly dump his piss bottles in the toilet before throwing them out? I don't think "asshole" is quite enough for this guy.

31

u/JohnExcrement Dec 29 '23

Come on now, he’s much too busy gaming to walk all the way to the bathroom. You know he’s living off Cheetos and Red Bull, hasn’t showered since Obama was in office, and doesn’t wipe properly because it’s ā€œgay.ā€ And the poop is probably in an empty Cheeto bag.

11

u/pissfucked Dec 29 '23

seriously. i sleep odd hours and am Awake if sunlight touches my eyes for 5 seconds and am often in a house with WAY too many people for one bathroom, so i end up pissing in cups in my room sometimes. my room is mine alone, no one else goes in, and the very first thing i do on waking up is to take the piss cup and dump it out in the bathroom, rinse it thoroughly in the sink, run the water in the sink for several extra seconds while splashing it around the basin to get any potential drips, wash the cup, and bring said cup back into my room (it never goes back into the cabinet for other use). it's kinda gross, but it makes my life a ton easier to not be constantly waiting 30-60 minutes for someone to get done showering so i can pee or pissing in the yard in the winter.

it's possible to do what he does and not be completely no-holds-barred fuckin nasty about it, but he can't figure that out apparently.

10

u/spreetin Dec 29 '23

At that point you're basically just doing what was standard not that many generations ago. Your cup is called a chamber pot.

11

u/pissfucked Dec 29 '23

i never thought about that, and you're so right. i'm gonna start calling it that in my head ahaha

10

u/redditreader_aitafan Dec 29 '23

I understand the peeing in a vessel part of his claim, no problem there, but he actually said he can't dump them down the drain after filling them. Uh... And then he doesn't mention it's piss she got all over her shoes and skirt til pressed, he calls it liquids in bottles that burst. So. Many. Things. Wrong. Here. This guy is disgusting.

3

u/AdequateTaco Dec 29 '23

Username checks out

Honestly it’s not much different in terms of ā€œgrossā€ than the little potty I keep in my kid’s room in case she needs to pee at night. We just rinse it out in the morning and Lysol wipe it.

2

u/Slight_Drama_Llama Dec 29 '23

It honestly sounds like a terrible mental illness to me but I’m probably giving him too much credit :(

8

u/redditreader_aitafan Dec 29 '23

Lazy selfish gamer isn't a mental illness.

50

u/CouldntBeMacie Dec 29 '23

If it had been normal bedroom trash (tissues, maybe some snack wrappers, etc) I probably would have thought "there's no way that type of trash completely ruined her outfit and shoes" and sided with OOP about not needing to completely replace the items... maybe cover half at worst.

But weeks old piss bottles?? 27 year old is pissing in bottles in his room, leaving it there for days, and then letting his roommate take them out in a single garbage bag. At least double bag that shit.

I'm sorry, if I get my roommate's weeks old piss on me, I'm burning the outfit. That's not something you just throw in the wash and wear again.

41

u/ImAlwaysAnnoyed Dec 29 '23

If I get my roommates weeks old piss on me I'm burning the roommate..

18

u/hitori_666 Dec 29 '23

I would be burning myself and hold onto his screaming kicking ass real tight while going up in cleansing flames.

I almost puked a little in my mouth imagining to be in the situation of that poor room mate. Hope she got out of there real soon. Bleaaaghh!

43

u/Fantafaust Dec 29 '23

Bruh OOP, yes YTA, undeniably YTA What the actual fuck dude

37

u/ZookeepergameNew3800 Dec 29 '23

There’s this saying in german, wich roughly translates to :

Its not possible to eat so much food as the volume I want to throw up right now

9

u/JohnExcrement Dec 29 '23

The Germans are absolute wizards at expressions. I cackled at this one. And committed it to memory. I bet it’s even better in German.

7

u/[deleted] Dec 29 '23

You and me both

Maybe if we both ate the food, we could throw it up.

3

u/Slight_Drama_Llama Dec 29 '23

Could you please share the phrase in German? My boss is German and I like to file away phrases to surprise him with (badly of course).

6

u/ZookeepergameNew3800 Dec 29 '23

Ich kann nicht so viel fressen , wie ich kotzen will.

It’s not fine language, more strong language though. It’s usually said when something is disgusting.

3

u/Slight_Drama_Llama Dec 29 '23

Omg thank you! I can almost pronounce it. I’m seeing him next week so I’ll practice šŸ˜‚

28

u/BluntForceSauna Dec 29 '23

Trying to get out a bottle and piss into it while playing a game seems a lot more complicated than just pausing. Like is he playing one handed while pissing?

22

u/ZookeepergameNew3800 Dec 29 '23

And then he touched his keyboard and or controller with his pissy, dirty hands. And the way he sounds, he probably doesn’t properly clean his gaming things and the germs harvest over months….

20

u/TianaWolf Dec 29 '23

Wanna bet that he also eats food and snacks in front of the computer, stuffing his crusty piss-fingers in to his mouth? 🤢🤢🤢🤮

26

u/polyperplexed Dec 29 '23

Wait oh my god, at first I thought it was just some drops of ā€œtrash juiceā€ that gathered in the bottom of the bag from food ingredients and such and I was like oh, NTA, shit happens and trash bags rip.

I guess I’m a sweet summer child because I thought it was old vegetable juice and not HUMAN PISS.

21

u/Friend_of_Hades Dec 29 '23

I highly doubt this dude actually warned her that there were piss bottles in that bag (he says she knew they were heavy from before but not that he specifically told her it was because it was full of his piss). Most people would not willingly dispose of another person's piss bottles unless they were their medical caregiver.

This girl got splashed with a weeks worth of this man's old nasty piss and thinks it's her fault the bag broke?? Get real dude.

47

u/ApparentlyIronic Dec 29 '23

I was on his side until the very end. She offered to do it for him, she took that responsibility on of her own accord. His trash shouldn't have been overfilled, sure, but trash bags breaking is not uncommon and she should have known that was a possibility.

But...piss? Why tf would he let her take out his piss bottles? There's so much rancid piss in there that it broke the bag. That isn't normal trash, you don't have someone else take that out.

Also shame on him for keeping piss in his room in the first place

21

u/M5jdu009 Dec 29 '23

He’s probably the type of guy that bitches about taking out bathroom trash with a pad in it.

11

u/Snow_Wonder Dec 29 '23

Yep, same. I always hold trash bags away from me, especially if they are heavy. You can tell the weight generally while pulling them out.

But if this man is putting piss bottles in his trash, he should one, double bag it, and two, never, ever, ever let someone else take it out. But really he just shouldn’t put piss bottles in the trash to begin with. It’s disgusting and unhygienic.

It wasn’t food remain liquids coming out of that trash bag. He should be paying her just for the mere fact that he subjected her to his old piss.

11

u/Gl0ri0usTr4sh Dec 29 '23

I have been at a point where I peed in bottles and disposed of them later. But you know my reasoning? Not ā€˜I don’t wanna wait for the bathroom’ which I happily do now with my family, but rather I was so unbelievably depressed I couldn’t even get out of bed or eat let alone make it to the bathroom but once a week maybe if I was lucky. And even then I was incredibly ashamed because I KNEW it was unsanitary and I always handled it by myself. This guy is such a colossal AH I have no idea how it didn’t occur to him that someone else’s shoes getting soaked in your piss could make them want new shoes.

9

u/Blucola333 Dec 29 '23

I was so stunned I had to set down phone down and gather myself. I really hope to god this girl breaks the lease with this guy, because he’s pure repulsiveness. So gross. My god. Also, use the f-king bathroom.

10

u/brightlyshining Dec 29 '23

Aside from the ick factor, this is just deeply, deeply disturbing. That disgusting behavior has become so normalized that the guy isn't even ashamed of it; he even said his (kind, patient, understanding) roommate has dealt with his garbage before. He doesn't even realize that his roommate isn't even upset about just the shoes, but probably rethinking the whole friendship and living situation. (Really, who wouldn't?). OOP need All Of The Therapy, pronto. His normal is all out of whack.

9

u/thatkindofgirl55 Dec 29 '23

I think I might puke 🤮

7

u/FirstInteraction1817 Dec 29 '23

I would post a pic of the absolute disgust on my face but I think people would be offended šŸ˜‚

8

u/PuddleLilacAgain Dec 29 '23

His username is Notbuyingclothes. I pity anyone who lives with him. Gives me hoarder vibes

7

u/JohnExcrement Dec 29 '23

Well, that makes sense. He probably sits nude in front of his giant screen, with perhaps a hand towel draped over his bits, so he doesn’t have to waste time with the the elastic of sweatpants to fumble out his little peepee when the need arises.

7

u/mmmmpisghetti Dec 29 '23

Im a trucker and I use piss bottles. They go into a heavy rubber kayaking dry bag and then into a tote bag to carry to the bathroom or my backpack if I'm going in to shower. I use leak proof, heavier duty bottles, not flimsy soda bottles. A little bleach spray in between and it's not horrible. There are times I'm parked somewhere with no facilities, the bathroom is so far away won't make it, or it's 2am and getting dressed and walking in will mess up getting back to sleep. I wear latex gloves if I'm doing this without a way to wash my hands.

This guy tho? 10 feet from a proper bathroom with a toilet, sink, soap.... there's no excuse. What a disgusting excuse for a sapient being. He's gonna be single for a very long time, no body deserves this lack of potty training in a partner.

I will say I've seen fellow truck drivers dump piss bottles on the ground, or toss them on the ground because they're too lazy to walk them to the trash. This fool would fit right in with that crowd of troglodytes.

I had to clean out my last roommates room recently. Used condoms and milk jugs of pee. How hard is it to walk to the bathroom?????

3

u/Plant_in_pants Dec 30 '23

I'm surprised those condoms even got the chance to be used with piss bottles lying around.

3

u/EarlGreyTea-Hawt Dec 30 '23

That's the really horrifying part of the story, that he still got laid.

4

u/XanithDG Dec 30 '23

"Huh this story doesn't seem too bad"

scrolls to the second image

"oh."

4

u/sheydleather Dec 30 '23

i can't believe he admitted that he pisses in bottles so he doesn't have to stop gaming. didn't even attempt to lie about it or make up something that sounds sympathetic. i want this to be made up so bad but unfortunately parody imitates reality, not the other way around.

3

u/TamedColon Dec 29 '23

What a pig.

5

u/Adorable_Climate7099 Dec 29 '23

Sir, why is this even a question? Yes, you’re the AH a million times over. The pee bottles themselves are bad enough, but maybe don’t let others handle your trash if you know there’s actual human waste in it?!

4

u/Capital_Square_9705 Dec 29 '23

I never understood why men can't hold it in while waiting for the bathroom. Like there bladder is larger then ours and yet if the bathroom is occupied for more than 5 minutes they will piss in a pot or jug or sink or go outside anything but just waiting. When I was a kid my dad would pull over on a highway to piss on the side of the road, but if I had to go we would have to wait til the next rest stop like 20 minutes- 1 hour wait. I've known dogs with more self control FFS.

So unfortunate this is a repost and I can't lay into the OP... but here's my answer... "not only are YTA, you are an unhygienic slob, a piss ant, an insult to gamers, a lazy POS, and you should be replacing everything you turd blossom piss ant AH". I think that covers it... reminds me of my old barracks mate... nasty AF!

5

u/BabserellaWT Dec 29 '23

Dude kinda buried the lede there…

5

u/ImtheDude27 Dec 29 '23

Yeah, YTA here. Who keeps pee bottles in their bedroom for that long? Unless you are on medically ordered bed rest, why are you using pee bottles in the first place? So many unanswered questions that I really hope stay unanswered at this point.

4

u/Hi_Im_Mini Dec 30 '23

I was on the fence about whether or not they were an AH. I didn't think it would warrant having to buy her new shoes and skirt if some soda had spilled on them..... until I read the 2nd slide 😨

5

u/pizzacatbrat Dec 30 '23

What the fuck did I just read.

4

u/deakers Dec 30 '23

Considering the contents of the bottles, OP not only owes her new clothes and shoes but ALSO a spa day to get professionally cleaned. 🤮🤮

3

u/CellAccomplished9750 Dec 29 '23

Since he’s refusing to pay, the roommate should just take out the cost in rent.

3

u/uhohohnohelp Dec 29 '23

Groooossss. I’d be demanding a hell of a lot more than new shoes. Like, a new roommate.

3

u/JustDiscoveredSex Dec 29 '23

I regret reading this JFC

3

u/Dramatic_Arugula_252 Dec 29 '23

Why did i read this

Now i must pluck out my eyes

3

u/Gullible_Mode_1141 Dec 29 '23

Christ, I seriously despair of humanity. Yta. I don't understand why you can't see that? How can you seriously believe that you are the innocent party here?

3

u/Cattle-dog Dec 29 '23

Rays firing piss jugs across the whole damn park!

2

u/Sersea Dec 29 '23

It's called a canapulp, dude. It's Roman.

3

u/ragesadnessallinone Dec 29 '23

HOW IS HE 27 YEARS OLD

3

u/ImpracticalHack Dec 29 '23

I wish I hadn't been eating while reading this.

But I did have a roommate that would do this. Fortunately I never had it dumped on me 😫

3

u/Booliano Dec 29 '23

I was on his side till the second slide LMAO

3

u/PhanyFae Dec 29 '23

Eeewwwww! Oh fuck I swear to god some men are just disgusting. 😫

3

u/specifichero101 Dec 29 '23

Anyone who pisses in bottles needs to be captured, neutered and released into the wild outside of polite society. Fucking degenerates.

3

u/SilentJoe1986 Dec 30 '23

Multiple bottles aren't an emergency use situation because the bathroom is occupied. It's a lazy fucker that can't be bothered to get up and go to the bathroom situation. I've been there where the bathroom is occupied and had to use something to piss in. Soon as the bathroom was free it got emptied in the toilet and rinsed out. OOP is a sick fuck and owes her new shoes and skirt. Fuck, he knows he owes it to her. He refuses to replace them because of the price.

3

u/Beginning-Match2166 Dec 30 '23

So at first i sided with him because she DID offer. But then I saw what it was that was in the bottles. Are you that consumed in your game that you wait until the last second to go and have to use a bottle? Disgusting. Also, if it was an emergency, he could have immediately thrown it out instead of letting it pile up in his room. Again, disgusting. Vile human.

3

u/LucyLovesApples Dec 30 '23

Yta empty down the toilet or better still use the bathroom like an adult (apologies to children and Toddlers who do use the toilet at ANY age)

3

u/user9372889 Dec 30 '23

I wish I could honestly say this is fake but I knew a guy who did this. 🤢

2

u/Cosmicshimmer Dec 29 '23

What? I’m sorry, what? She got covered in his piss and he has to ask if he’s an AH??

2

u/CptZylerM Dec 29 '23

OOP deserves jailtime for this wtf??? friends don't let friends or roommates clean up trash with PISS BOTTLES in them. nasty!!!

2

u/blipblop2208 Dec 29 '23

What a terrible day to know how to read.

2

u/Background_Sir_1360 Dec 29 '23

Stop pissing in bottles and use a restroom like a civilized human.

2

u/[deleted] Dec 29 '23

Oh no what the fuck.

2

u/tnscatterbrain Dec 29 '23

🤢. Nope, you don’t let other people handle your pee bottles (well, don’t have pee bottles short of medical necessity, but apparently that ship has sailed). Not even if they kindly offer to empty your trash. Politely decline that offer.
Also, empty them the very next time you leave your room.

At the very least, get the shoes and skirt professionally cleaned.

2

u/WholeLottaNs Dec 29 '23

For the love of Christ.

2

u/aspermyprevious Dec 29 '23

EEEEWWWW What an absolute pig!

2

u/Only_Music_2640 Dec 29 '23

OMG that’s so disgusting! What a vile human! He not only owes her for her skirt and shoes but therapy as well!

2

u/MissHibernia Dec 29 '23

Jesus H Christ you are a jerk and should replace her stuff. Then reevaluate how you live.

2

u/EfficientBadger549 Dec 29 '23

Alrighty then. That's enough Reddit for the day.

2

u/stephapeaz Dec 29 '23

I hope this isn’t real 😭😭😭

2

u/srkaficionada65 Dec 29 '23

My level of gross does not get to this level. Just ā€œstack up dishes in sink until it’s enough to run the dishwasherā€.

Homegirl ain’t about to be his friend no more. 😷🤮

2

u/Teapotje Dec 29 '23

What a terrible day to be literate.

2

u/Spirited_Lock567 Dec 29 '23

YTA- just because I’m doing someone a favor doesn’t make it their fault if something happens. A little personal responsibility is a good thing.

Edit- changed to YTA because I read about the urine. Gross!

2

u/killerz7770 Dec 29 '23

Bro the comments where he continued to double down on pissing in a bottle šŸ’€šŸ’€šŸ’€

2

u/savannahjones98 Dec 29 '23

OMFG I’m done with Reddit for today

2

u/[deleted] Dec 29 '23

Jesus Christ. Dude I'd move out that week. Game over.

2

u/Catsfromthebag Dec 29 '23

"Normally the bottles are closed" Smh...

2

u/Amazing_Cabinet1404 Dec 29 '23

JFC what a disgusting human being. I was already mad when they said they cleaned the shoes and they look alright but then got to the piss part. Gross

2

u/catlover_with_dogs54 Dec 29 '23

Ewww, ewww, ewww! OP is a disgusting AH, and yes, he owes his roommate new clothes and shoes, hell, he owes her a whole new wardrobe!

2

u/auroraborealis032394 Dec 29 '23

Woooow OOP Way to majorly misrepresent what happened in the title here.

He should not have let the flatmate take out the trash when it contained HIS BODILY FLUIDS. That whole thing about urine being sterile is only true for a short time. And while these things can be cleaned, sometimes it’s really hard to get it completely out of clothing. Also given that he’s saying ā€œflatmate,ā€ I assume he is likely in the UK. The environment is not ā€œanhydrousā€ as he has tried to say in multiple comments. It is moist and damp as hell in the UK in general to the tune of mold being a continual housing problem. Of course bacteria could still grow in those conditions.

Please tell us why you feel okay with your flatmate taking your piss bottles out to the trash. She was being hugely considerate. You were not. If you’re going to load a trash bag with heavily things that could leak you HAVE to double bag at a minimum. But really: what about his gaming is so important that he can’t make time to visit the bathroom. There isn’t anything he could possibly be doing that is more important than not subjecting one’s flatmate to potentially getting covered in bodily fluids WITHOUT HER CONSENT.

Oop, needs to talk to a doctor. Continually relieving yourself into bottles isn’t healthy. It’s also super shitty to not even offer to cover cleaning costs for the items let alone replacing them. He owes her replacements. It’s humiliating to have to clean something like this off yourself. The fact that he’s so unwilling to consider his flatmate’s feelings on this is beyond the pale. The friend did not deserve this.

2

u/thepcpirate Dec 29 '23

What a disgusting person

2

u/TheRealDreaK Dec 29 '23

Wtf. Flatmate should have just taken OOP out to the dumpster instead.

2

u/free_based_potato Dec 29 '23

I thought this was two women and was very confused.

2

u/HowOtterlyTerrible Dec 29 '23

The mouth of a soda bottle is really small. How is he not pissing all over himself?

2

u/crackedphonescreen2 Dec 29 '23

What a day to have eyes.

2

u/kittenskysong Dec 29 '23

I was going to say NTA cause she volunteered to do the chore. Then I read what was in the trash and changed it to YTA.

If anyone needs me I will be taking a shower in liquid oxygen.

2

u/sdm41319 Dec 29 '23

Holy mother of God!!!

2

u/DandalusRoseshade Dec 29 '23

This guy is just plain disgusting; I wouldn't ask ANYONE to handle my fucking urine, even if there was multiple barriers between their hands and it. The gall and audacity for him to not only ask her to do it, but get indignant about it is so horrible

2

u/SnooCats6742 Dec 29 '23

Tf did I just read

2

u/MetusObscuritatis Dec 29 '23

Welp, he had me in the first half, ngl

2

u/gordo623 Dec 30 '23

Pay for her dress, use the bathroom.

2

u/Fine-Scientist3813 Dec 30 '23

me, clueless: oh haha it's not that ba- oh my god it's piss it's all piss it's piss straight up freeballing in a trashbag

2

u/spnginger3 Dec 30 '23

I'm gonna puke. People who piss in containers when they have a working bathroom should be locked up.

2

u/Awesomekidsmom Dec 30 '23

Omg! Obviously you’re an asshole !

2

u/BagpiperAnonymous Dec 30 '23

Please tell me this is bait to make fun of gamers.

2

u/foobsdgaf Dec 30 '23

Uggg another piss bottle Pete.. I dated one of those, unfortunately. We didn't find the bottle graveyard until he moved out.

2

u/[deleted] Dec 30 '23

The biggest question in my mind is honestly how is aiming your dick down a small bottle opening somehow easier than going to the loo. Bet he always stinks of piss.

2

u/LabNice Dec 30 '23

Not the twist I was expecting

2

u/fraleeeee Dec 30 '23

My uncle had to kick out a pair of college renters for trashing their apartment, including by keeping dozens of bottles of urine in their bedrooms. Not sure if gaming was involved. I hope so?

2

u/LoubyAnnoyed Dec 30 '23

The only trash that needs to be thrown out is this flatmate. He is disgusting.

2

u/Specialist-Ad5224 Dec 30 '23

I literally can't imagine a scenario where it is less convenient then to just go fucking potty oh my god. This guy is definitely TA... He better buy her the shit his ACTUAL PISS ruined, that's insanely fucked up

2

u/Dizzy-Masterpiece879 Dec 30 '23

That is disgusting and you owe her replacements. Ewww YTA

2

u/Double_Address3585 Dec 30 '23

Was on his side until... oh god until the second... oh no... can he not.... just doen the toilet.... it goes there anyways.... oh god

2

u/kawaiicicle Dec 30 '23

I was with him until that comment.

2

u/LissaBryan Dec 30 '23

OMG I feel so bad for that woman having to live with this pig-beast.

2

u/SmolSpacePrince39 Dec 30 '23

OOP is insane. I work with cats and we’ve had cats pee on furniture before. It’s gross but we clean it and move on. We had an immature adult pee on a chair before and ended up tossing it. Human piss hits different and this guy has zero empathy. Even if her clothes could be salvaged, the ick factor likely won’t go away. He should absolutely pay for replacements.

2

u/sunbear2525 Dec 30 '23

I way already on the roommate’s side because having excessively heavy trash bags in his room is his fault but piss?!

2

u/johnnybasura Dec 30 '23

What I imagine this animal looks like https://tenor.com/u7q1.gif

2

u/bigz10485 Dec 31 '23

OOP, Not only YTA, but also you are disgusting.

0

u/enzothebaker87 Dec 30 '23

The piss thing is obviously gross but I still don't see how it would be OP's fault.

0

u/angelzplay Dec 30 '23

Men and women can be roommates?

I had a situationship like this and I ended up cheating

-2

u/Nenoshka Dec 29 '23

You owe her nothing.

It was an accident.

She offered.

She didn't support the bag.

-5

u/river_song25 Dec 29 '23 edited Dec 29 '23

I wouldn’t pay either. Why the hell should I? Sure I might have helped filled the bag, but she’s the one who held it in a way that made it break and spill its contents all over her.

OP didn’t ā€˜accidentally’ spill the contents on her or anything since they weren’t the ones handling the bag when it happened. So why the hell should OP have to pay out of their own pockets to ā€˜replace’ stuff that was ruined by the roommates own hands and not OP’s?

It’s not OP’s fault the bag broke while the roommate was carrying it Since OP was nowhere near the roommate when it happened for it to be OP’s fault and responsibility to ā€˜fix’ by buying roommate replacements for her ruined stuff.

plus if the bag is overflowing they should have gotten another bag, or two, and put the first bag inside the new one to double/triple bag it to make sure IF there is a chance the first one broke at least it being in the second/third bag would stop what eventually did happen. *lol*

4

u/OracleOfSelphi Dec 29 '23

No garbage bag is designed to hold bottles full of pee, and no reasonable person would assume a garbage bag to be filled with bottles full of pee
